L’Oréal does not test any of its cosmetic products nor ingredients in any of its brands on animals. The fact that not all our brands are certified does not mean that products are tested on animals. Doesn't get my face clean
This cleanser is, in a word, fine. It doesn't strip the oils from my face, which is nice, but it doesn't feel like it truly cleanses my skin. I can't be sure, but I feel that this product is what is causing me to break out all over (and my skin is not acne-prone). I have tried CeraVe's other hydrating cleansers, and I think the foaming quality of those products cleanses better. I'll skip this one next time in favor of their other cleaners.
Been using for years
I've been using Cerave for many years, and it was recommended by my dermatologist. I like the way it cleans, but does not leave my face dry.
It's okay
I'm not a fan. It leaves an oily residue no matter how much I rinse my face… due to the very thick, gel, consistency.
