I have long, thick, wavy hair. I wanted to like this, I really did. While yes,it did detangle, three of the top teeth snapped off. If your hair isn't too thick, I could see this being a win. This comb felt like it was going to snap in half. Not a strong enough material for detangling curly hair.

I'm impressed with this comb. The daughter's B3 red hair is to her waist, extremely thick, and oh SO coarse. I, on the other hand, have A3. works through our hair without even trying. The comb seems flimsy, so be careful and take your time.

I have purchased at least one of every type of curly hair brush Ulta carries, 3 different types of wet brushes, cantu, tangle teezer etc. They all were not enough to actually get through my daughters 2c-3a curly hair. Combing wet, starting at the bottome, with pattern conditioner applied is the way to use this. This comb cut our hair brushing time in half. I am hoping to teach her to use this one independently. Unlike the regular wet brush and the tangle teezer brush, this handle has a coating on it. The coating makes it 100X easier to hold with conditioner all over your hands.
