Best Ever!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have loose, curly thick hair that brushes out into frizzy waves and requires a lot of moisture to keep it happy. However, oils don't work for me due to my oily scalp. Finding a balance has been challenging, but this conditioner is perfect. I've been using it for years and will continue to purchase it forever! The formula is so thick that I initially mistook it for a hair mask and thought I had bought the wrong product. It even takes a little extra time to rinse out so be patient. You definitely get your money's worth! The only downside is the fragrance; I wish it were fragrance-free, but that's not a deal breaker for me.
i think this saved my curls!
i switched from Amika Normcore shampoo & conditioner to this conditiner, since Amika made me lose a crazy amount of hair and dried out my curls. I have only used this Briogeo conditioner once, but even then, i already can see and feel a big difference. my curls actually form to be defined, little to no frizz, and they FEEL hydrated and smooth. my hair needed this protein!!! i see some people saying that this might make their hair rough, that might be because your hair already has enough protein, you might need something more moisturizing for the protein + moisture curl balance (i do not know this for sure, just a general idea or suggestion). i have color treated 2B/2C hair that tends to have ringlets towards the mid/bottom shafts of my hair, and this doesnt weigh them down at all nor did i see that it makes my color fade. all this is to be said after just one use, so take this with a grain of salt! i might come back and edit my review after a few more washes, but i genuinely was surprised at how well this product treated my hair after just one use. i also love that it is cruelty free and general clean ingredients!!
Lackluster
I had high expectations considering the brand and the cost. I have curly hair (3A/3B). It left my hair pretty dry for being a conditioner. I will not be repurchasing and I can't return it considering there's not much product to begin with. I tried compensating by using more product but it ultimately made no difference.
Ingredients inaccurate
I have an allergy to sodium benzoate, so I read ingredient lists thoroughly before purchasing. The ingredients listed online are not the same as what it says on the bottle, which is a big deal for me. Luckily I checked the bottle before using. It would be great to know if/when this change was made and why there are different ingredient losts online vs on the actaul bottle. I now have to return 3 products because of this.
