Gentle but Effective!
I preface that I am 44. I have fairly sensitive combination skin that can get extremely oily in my t-zone but extremely dry on my cheeks and outer forehead. My skin is getting more dry and flaky as I age. I was looking for a gentle chemical exfoliator with a bit of fine mechanical polishing that wasn't extremely expensive. This really checks the boxes for me. The powder, when mixed with a splash of water, transformers to a foam with almost no grit. I first apply a warm wash cloth across my face for about 5 minutes to prep and humidify my face. Then I gently massage the foamy cleanser on my face, rinse, and repeat. I only use it once a week to help remove just the excess buildup of dead skin. It makes my skin so smooth. I finish with one of my favorite nighttime moisturizers. Yes, the bottle comes half full but it's still a lot of product AND it allows for control when dispensing the powder. It's still cheaper than the Tatcha The Rice Polish Deep (the only Tatcha Rice Polish with fruit/papaya enzyme). I have tried a sample of that. This Tonymoly version is extremely similar. The powder itself is a little more gritty but once water is added, the consistency of the foam is the same. I want to mention that I have a severe allergy to latex. Therefore, I can have a cross-sensitivity to products that contain papaya. Thankfully, I have not had a reaction with this product. That usually means that the Papaya Enzyme (Papain) is extremely refined. I also did not have a reaction to the Tatcha Deep. Just thought I would mention that for those with a similar allergy.
Cheaper version of a. more expensive brand.
I was trained under a higher end brand while in aesthetic school. I continue to buy the higher and brand for my personal use. It was quite expensive, so I decided to do a little research to see if I can find a brand that could rival do more expensive brand. I purchased this one and it lived up to the hype. I have since ditched my higher end brand and use this brand exclusively. This is going on my third year!

Reasonably Priced/Great Foamer
I have used many powdered cleansers in all price ranges. This one is great. Removes sunscreen well, exfoliates gently, and is scent free. Will forever buy.
Best Facial Cleanser!
I love this exfoliating cleanser so much! It has really healthy, clean, non-toxic ingredients, and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and smooth. I also love that it comes in a powder form! It makes it fun, and it's super easy to use! My only wish is that Ulta would carry it in stores again instead of online only. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a gentle exfoliating cleanser. At least try it once! ✨
