Our Copper Peptide Pro Firming Serum delivers an advanced, science-backed formula with potent copper peptide and 12 additional peptides to support healthy fibroblasts. It is our strength of the copper peptide formulated with the other 12 high performing peptides that allows this formula to be so effective. For some context, fibroblasts reside within a network of proteins and molecules called the Extracellular Matrix (or The Matrix as we like to call it) where they bind to healthy and intact collagen to create more collagen. As we get older, or as free radicals wreak havoc, The Matrix starts to change. Collagen fibrils become tattered and fragmented, and destructive enzymes are produced. Fibroblasts have less healthy collagen to bind to, and in turn, they're not able to make as much collagen and elastin – which is when we can start to see more wrinkling and sagging. But research shows that when The Matrix is restored, fibroblasts at any age—damaged or not—can produce as much collagen and elastin as before. The skin can only handle and metabolize so much. We recommend no more than 2 serums at a time. The order of which is completely up to your preference as serums are all made to penetrate into the deeper layer of skin. We caution using the Retinal For All and the Power Cocktail at the same time as these are very active serums. One routine suggestion would be to use Glass Skin Serum and Copper Peptide in the mornings and then at night use Glass Skin Serum and switch off using the Power Cocktail and Retinal For All on alternating nights.
