Beautiful product, terrible skin reaction.

I typically love Milani—most of their products work really well for me. This one looked beautiful on the skin, but unfortunately, I had a strange reaction after wearing it. I followed my usual nighttime routine: I removed my makeup with micellar water, then did my regular double cleanse. After that..., I applied my nighttime peptide cream. The next morning, I woke up with a cluster of small, flesh-colored bumps—no itching, just texture. After thinking it through, I do know why this happened. I believe it's because the stick product, along with any moisturizers or other layered products, can get trapped on the skin. When you add peptides into the mix, it seems to cause some sort of interaction. Even though I thought my skin was clean, there must have still been some residue left behind. So while this product looked amazing, I can't use it anymore—at least not on days when I plan to use peptides at night. I really wish I could. I still recommend it, but with a warning: if you use peptides in your routine and have sensitive or reactive skin, make sure every trace of this product is thoroughly removed first. For reference, my skin is normal to dry. It's rarely truly dry these days, though it leaned more dry when I was younger. Just putting this out there in case it helps someone avoid the same issue!
