My go to lipstick!
I've been obsessed with Black Opal products every since I started wearing their foundation in HS years ago! This matte lipstick is no different! I love the color and the way it goes on, just wish it was a little more stay proof but nonetheless the ONLY matte lipstick I use.

I purchased this thinking it would seal the deal and it did not. I was truly hoping that it was non transferable like it was advised in the store. Waste of my money. It doesn’t even look like I have any lipstick on at all. Plus it made my lips feel super dry. Definitely won’t order any more lipsticks/gloss from here again.

Definitely not transfer proof...
This is not extremely matte which is nice but it transfers especially when you start eating and it doesn't have an opaque color pay off it just feels really sticky even after drying I get dog hair on my lips somehow... kinda annoyed I bought this.

I’m quite pleased with my first Black Opal lip! Super pigmented, not streaky at all, long-lasting color. There is DEFINITELY transfer though, all over my water bottle lol, but it still looks good! And it doesn’t pass the inner-lip “butthole†test, but honestly which lipstick does? Personally I found the formula to be a little drying but not unbearably so. Overall much better than MANY similarly priced liquid matte lips I’ve tried! I’ll totally be buying more shades! Another reviewer commented on how the Indigo shade is not really indigo and they are correct. I bought mine in-store so I knew exactly what I was getting: it looks exactly like it does in the product picture. This Indigo is more of a cold steely cobalt, which I really like, but if you’re looking for a warmer purple-blue, this isn’t the shade for you.

Love it! A comfortable matte on the lips and lasts all day, I'll be picking up more shades.
