I was using Redken purple shampoo but scent was too strong for summer and a bit drying. Biolage has a nice lighter scent plus violet pigment to tone my blond every time I shampoo seems more effective Can leave in up to 3 minutes for more conditioning and toning. It is moisturizing does not dry out my hair. Followed with Beach Blondes conditioner. Scent and purpose of products work well together and can get all snarls out in the rinse process with my flexible shower brush. Another item I highly recommend for longer hair.
