I used this on a 103° day with 70% humidity and it hrld up well against that! It was the perfect balance of moisture for my 3A-3B, low porosity curls. My curls held their definition and i had good volume with almost no frizz. About halfway through the day, though, my scalp started getting really ...

I used this on a 103° day with 70% humidity and it hrld up well against that! It was the perfect balance of moisture for my 3A-3B, low porosity curls. My curls held their definition and i had good volume with almost no frizz. About halfway through the day, though, my scalp started getting really itchy. It was bad enough that i put cortizone on my scalp. I looked this product up on the Healthy Living app and sure enough, it is marked poorly for allergies and immunotoxicity. If it weren't for the bad reaction my scalp had, i would buy the entire line. So, I have mixed feelings about this - works great but doesn't react well for me at all.

I love the Coily shampoo but this cream is disappointing. Leaves my curls crunchy and dry for the first day or two, then my curls soften up and lose bounce. Tends to leave build up on hair and scalp even when used sparingly.
