Cool Scrub
I'm sure there's some level of detoxification taking place due to the charcoal, but not to the level I hoped. I've been trying to find products to help minimize or eliminate the smell from using natural deodorants. Everything smells good in the moment, but 2-3hrs into my day and I can smell my pits. I appreciate a good scrub though and the underarm skin is smoother/softer, so I continue to use it for that benefit
Removes buildup
I got this product to try and remove the deodorant buildup under my arms. I have to use clinical strength deodorant, and it leaves such a dry film all under my arms that I can't ever seem to get off. I have tried other brands' underarm bars that are charcoal, but they didn't seem to help. But this works everytime! I massage a small amount into my underarms, then let it sit for a minute or two, then rinse and all the buildup is gone and my underarms are so smooth. No irritation, and I think the smell is pleasant.

I love this scrub so much! I've been using natural, non-aluminum deodorant for 20 years but have always been disappointed by how ineffective they often are and I recently developed a sensitivity to baking soda based ones. I use this scrub before the shower and then use the Coconut Deodorant wipes and most days I don't even need anything else! Only on the hottest days or for strenuous workouts do I put anything else on and I've never smelled better.

This product really surprised me. As sensitive as my armpits are, I tried it because of the ingredients. Helped clear my hidradenitis suppurativa flares. My armpits are the clearest they've been in years. Clean feeling all around post deodorant use!

I try not to use much deodorant aluminum free or not, UNLESS I am going out or know I will be around family or friends. I will usually moisturize coconut oil and shea butter to my underarms and maybe a lotion on top and reply if needed. As soon as I saw this detox scrub I knew I had to have it and give it a try, I wanted something that I could use to just do exactly what it is made for which is detox specifically for the underarm area. I tried it out only once so far, was I amazed! And yes I agree with one reviewer this is not a gimmick it actually worked pretty well for me. I could actually feel the exfoliation and see the charcoal change from dark to a lighter color the more I scrubbed, I let it rest, rinsed then applied a lightly scented body butter in that area. My underarms smelled great and the next day not even a slight hint of BO or feeling like I needed to apply anything to my underarms. This is a really good product for anyone.
