This was my first Vox...

This was my first Vox Box, and the sample of this was a very small spray vial,, so I only wore this for a couple days. I remember when CK One was launched (the year I graduated high school), and I would say that CK Everyone stays true to the original concept of a unisex fragrance. I feel like the ci...trus and green notes are more forward than the original CK One fragrance, which I would say leaned more toward an aquatic and green notes. For my taste, I do feel like bringing the citrus forward gives it a better balance than it's famous precursor. That being said, there was nothing that stood out to me as particularly special about CK Everyone...and perhaps that is by design. If you are trying very hard to create a scent that has mass appeal for all genders, there might be a high probability that you end up with a formulaic, generic, middle-of-the-road fragrance that is neither offensive nor unique. I'm one of those people who delight in a wide variety of scents; I will wear everything from a floral rose to a bourbon patchouli, and I really have never given much credence to the idea that scents are somehow gendered to begin with. My favorite scents all have one thing in common: a perspective. For me, CK Everyone just doesn't have much of a point of view. I can't help but think I would have liked to see more depth, which perhaps more warmth from the amber or another base note. It's not a bad scent, especially for those who don't like to stay too far from the ordinary. This is a nice, "safe" fragrance that I do think will appeal to a lot of people. If you're a fan of citrus and green notes, I really do think it's worth checking out because the balance of those notes is quite nice!
