This hand cream is the gold standard for me. It is unscented, and the slight inoffensive odor disappears quickly as it is absorbed. It is non-greasy, absorbs fairly quickly, and like other Avène products I have tried and loved, does exactly what it says it does. Living in a harsh winter climate, I used to struggle with cracked, split skin on my fingertips as soon as the temperature dropped below freezing. But since I began using the Cicalfate hand cream, I no longer have to deal with skin damage from dehydration. My hands look smooth and even younger than they should.

This hand cream has given me hydrated and smooth hands. I'm pleasantly surprised with this product. I've tried so many hand creams and nothing has given me this results.

I wanted to like this hand cream but it leaves my hands feeling dry, chalky, and slightly oily. It literally feels like a dry oil has been rubbed into my hand. It's a really gross feeling and it leaves a sticky residue on everything you touch. Not soft or creamy or moisturizing at all.
