- Section hair and take a 2-inch section.
- At the root, press to open iron with cool tip facing upwards and wrap hair.
- Rotate iron one full turn so the hair is wrapped around fully.
- Glide down the hair 2 inch and unwind hair.
- Repeat technique.
- Continue until all the hair has been styled, always styling away from the face.

Easy curls
I never do my hair but this curling iron is so easy to use. It heats up in literal seconds and only takes one pass to give the prettiest curl. I used it with extensions and I was able to do my whole head in less than 15 minutes. It lasted an entire night out and I used very little product to hold the curls. I also love what it comes with a glove to protect your hand!
Simple and Smooth!
Immediately as I opened the box I was in awe of how beautiful this curling iron is. I've always been interested in GHD so being able to test this product was the icing on the cake! I absolutely love how smooth and simple it is. I'm not very good at curling my hair but I'm sure once I get the hang of it I'll use it much more often! I love that it has an auto off switch, makes it so much easier if I forget to turn it off.
Great Modern Curling Iron
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Ten to fifteen years ago I was curling my hair 2-3 times per week, but now I find myself lucky if I style my hair 2-3 times per year. The products used have changed so much that I've been nervous to step back into the ring, but the ghd Chronos Curve Grand Iron - 1.25" made the process much smoother. My hair type has changed drastically since having kids so I wasn't even sure how the curls would turn out, but I'm pretty impressed with the result! A few of my favorite parts of this iron are that 1- the power switch makes it nearly impossible to accidentally turn it off while curling your hair, 2- the wands shape and cord input make it very easy to change the direction in which you're curling your hair, and 3- the iron is preset to a certain temperature making it difficult to burn your hair to a crisp. Lastly, I tried my curls both with and without the clamp and noticed near identical tendrils each time. Previous irons left marks where I clamped my hair down, but these curls had a flawless finish. I also appreciated the heat protectant glide included, even though I haven't yet used it.

I highly recommend this curling iron. It did a great job on my curly thick hair. I can't wait to use it this weekend for a wedding hairstyle! I had been using my old curling iron for years, and this is such a worthy replacement. Well made, feels like it's made to last!

This curling iron is amazing! It gives a long lasting curl with definition and shine! The sleek feel of the barrel is amazing! I truly recommend this curling iron! It works great on both short and long hair. The length of the cord gives great flexibility to work with. It's perfect!
