taste gets in your mouth, its terrible
I need to say I do not eat my lip products. I apply it like a normal human. And yet, every time I use this product there is a distinct chemical tang in my mouth afterwards that lasts for ages. Absolutely terrible after taste. Do not recommend!
Good overall, but has some weaknesses
This lip oil is definitely a true lip oil. I enjoy that it doesn't have the stickiness or thick feel of a lip gloss at all. The trade off (that I see some people complain about) is that it does sink in pretty fast. Also it can migrate into your mouth kind of easily (it will taste like sunscreen), but putting chapstick along the seam of your lips that can mitigate that. I use chapstick 24/7/365 so that doesn't bother me, but it is a weakness to need another product to avoid an issue with this one. The smell is also...interesting. The blue cheese review I've seen here haunts me a bit. I would liken it to vanilla yogurt, but there is a fermenty/yogurty funk that I assume is from the sunscreen chemicals combining with their choice of fragrance. It's not strong, and I don't notice the smell when I'm wearing it. I haven't had any issues with the sun protection of this product, but I've also never had a sunburn on my lips without any SPF on, so do with that what you will.
Dislike the smell
I dont know how they did it, but this lip oil smells exactly like the AMC movie theater popcorn butter.

I'm not sure why there's so many negative comments. This is my first time purchasing and I absolutely love it. It smells so delicious like coconut and vanilla and has a lovely taste to it as well stays on for quite a while even while swimming and most definitely protected my lips from the UV rays. They did not get burned like they usually do going to order a few more to last me this summer.!!!
Pass on this
It's not at all what it is advertised to be. It smells really bad and does not have a good lip feel. Save your money and get the Aquaphor SPF lip balm instead if the SPF is a big factor for you.
