OCTAVIA MORGAN LOS ANGELES CASABLANCA Eau de Parfum

I'm so sick of Ambroxan (or similar) not being disclosed as an ingredient since it so clearly affects the overall smell. This was sharp and awful. It's likely they used it as a fixative which meant they didn't have to add it as a note. Hard pass.

I received this product as a part of an educational promotion. I was so excited when I was accepted for the Octavia Morgan Casablanca EDP review because I am a perfume fiend and the notes of this perfume sounded amazing! Once it arrived I ripped it open and the box was beautiful! The packaging has this opalesque sheen that is GORGEOUS. The bottle looks chic, with it's black and white labeling. To be honest I wish it had some of the sheen as the packaging, but the aesthetics aren't that important. The juice is what we are all waiting for! From my initial spray of Casablanca, I was hit with a strong cashmere wood scent mixed with a little vanilla. The vanilla definitely rounds out the cashmere wood a bit, but for some reason I was expecting this to be a bit of a lighter scent. I really wasn't getting the freesia or amber notes, the cashmere wood is so strong! The scent lasted for a good 5+ hours on me, but wasn't super overpowering. I would definitely recommend this to someone who loves a woodsy scent!

I've been trying out the new Casablanca Eau de Parfum by Octavia Morgan Los Angeles, and it's quickly becoming a staple in my fragrance collection! The scent is a very balanced unisex fragrance that is carried by gentle sandalwood and Madagascar vanilla, with a hint of brightness from the plum and alluring depth from the amber. Although the brand describes the scent as "vanilla-forward", I would say that this fragrance is more wood-forward with a vanilla undertone. The fragrance lasts throughout most of the day and gives a nice scent bubble without being too strong or overpowering - I would consider it a skin scent that projects more. The glass bottle looks clean and elegant, and the atomizer sprays a nice fine mist of the product. I think this fragrance would suit any gender for any occasion or time of day, and I highly recommend it!

I am a fragrance enthusiast with a large perfume collection that consists mainly of clean perfumes. This was my first introduction to clean perfume brand Octavia Morgan, and I am so impressed! Casablanca is an incredible unisex scent that combines notes of freesia, plum, amber, cashmere woods and a rich vanilla. The opening is fresh and sweet, and it slowly evolves into a more warm and comforting scent. The dry down is rich and woody and really reminds me of an Arabic perfume. I really enjoy using it and find that it is a great daytime scent. The sweet and light fruity floral notes make this a vanilla that is perfect for year-round, including summer. Overall, I really love this fragrance and have added it to my scents for daily wear. If you love vanilla but want a balanced scent that keeps things interesting, Casablanca is for you. I received this as part of an educational promotion.

This fragrance definitely smells great. It last all day and I have gotten many compliments on it. I love that it is light but also intense too. It's not too harsh and I love the bottle.
