Awesome Brush Cleaner

I was in the market for a new solid brush cleaner bar and stumbled upon this one. The previous brush cleanser I had been using for the past year was alright, but I frankly haven't been totally satisfied as far as results. I read the reviews of this, compared this cleansing bar to the one I currently...

Left a film on my brushes and cleaned nothing.

I was hoping this could be a replacement for the Beauty Blender solids since they're pricey and I honestly don't need that many silicone pads when I have one giant one. I was completely and utterly wrong. Sometimes I'll use one of my very gentle cleansers on my brushes or, if the makeup is really ...

Useless for most cleaning

If you have a brush with a little powder on it, this will clean it fine. Anything oily or dense, like foundation or cream products, will just stay on the brush. I have used almost the whole container in a day trying over and over to clean a foundation brush, to no avail. Its overly oily, doesnt lather, runs out fast and just doesnt clean well. It also seems to make brushes water repellent even though theyre not clean. Useless.

Smell is strong

I wish this was unscented and it doesn't cut the oil as well as my beauty blender one but it's still good. I'm not an everyday make up wearer so I don't need to wash my brushes all the time. I hope it'll last for a while.

Love but runs out quickly

This is my first time using a solid brush cleaner and it worked really well! However, I had to clean a few brushes that were extremely dirty, and I already saw the bottom of the container. The price point is good, but it's not long lasting.

Gets the job done and prefer solid brush cleaners! However, I wash my brushes (5-10 brushes) at least every couple of weeks and it required a lot of soap for base brushes and i already atarted seeing the bottom of the container after three months of use. I loved my elf solid sponge cleaner (charcoal edition) wasnt able to find it so i decided to give this a try. Will be going back to elf for my brush cleaner.
