Beautiful packaging and lovely pressed compact and smooth when applied, but it's not anything special or innovative. All highlighter seem to be the same nowadays. Oh my god, this product!!! I know it's made to be a highlighter but I use this as a blush in the shade Modern Mercury and OMG it's amazing! I was gifted the product and I immediately knew, even though Estee Lauder is a bit out of my price range, I had to buy it again. This is my biggest holy grail product and cannot wait to repurchase!!

For me, finding a good highlighter has been like trying to find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. It's been an elusive journey. I hate too much glitter or shimmer, and unfortunately a lot of highlighters out there have lots of that. I was initially gravitating towards another color,as I thought this one might come off a bit dark on me, but after reading the positive reviews I decided on Modern Mercury. I'm really glad I did. I'm not sure the photos on the website do the color justice. It really is a pretty gold with a touch of rose. It works very well on my pale skin. It also seems to have good lasting power and is still in place at the end of the day. It's also great to use on the eyes. Very pretty. I also like the mirror in the compact. I'm happy I found this product. I'm tempted to try the other colors as well now.

I did not expect to powder to have so much shimmer. I returned it. It was not what i expected. I don't mind a little shine but this was something you would wear to a party only.
