I LOVE this sunblock! It absorbs in and feels like nothing on my skin. No sheen, no white film on my skin, no sunblock smell or taste. This product is truly a sunblock I can wear every day without compromising comfort or risking an oily film getting on my clothes or jewelry. A must have part of my d...

Too expensive for a tiny bottle

I use sunscreen every day on my face and prefer physical sunscreens to chemical ones. I heard that Clinique put out a purely mineral sunscreen and immediately ordered it. However, both on here at Ulta and on the clinique website there is no mention of the size of the product. I was immensely disappo...

Good protection from UV rays

I like and would recommend this sunscreen with some caveats. It adequately protects against burning rays, but I find it to be overpriced for a 1-ounce bottle. It leaves slightly less of a white cast than other mineral sunscreens that I apply to my very fair skin. Issues: Even capped tightly, the bottles leak inside a bag or pocket. Unacceptable that I can't carry sunscreen without wasting product from leakage. Ingredients offer little benefit—no ascorbyl palmitate, ascorbic acid, bisabolol, panthenol, or lecithin. At least one other sunscreen on the market contains those ingredients, which can help reverse existing hyperpigmentation from prior sun damage—while you wear it. One ingredient, butyloctyl salicylate, is not listed as an active sunscreen, but it is structurally similar to octisalate, which can turn my skin red and cause burning if my skin is in a rosacea-sensitive phase. I am also skeptical that this sunscreen contains iron oxides, as listed in the Ingredients block. Red, yellow, or black iron oxide pigments are commonly used to create a brownish tint in sunscreens. This sunscreen is white (Clinique's City Block is orange, like rusted iron). If Clinique labs have managed to thermally alter an iron pigment's color to white, I would love to read the assay. Why this matters to me: I apply this sunscreen as a final step in my PM routine, after the sun goes down. While wearing sunscreen at night sounds nuts, my dermatologist told me that iron oxides can help protect skin from blue light emitted from LED screens, as well as help slow down the breakdown of retinoic acid from that same light.

Dear Clinique, please do not discontinue this sunscreen. This is the only sunscreen that does not irritated my skin or makes me breakout of acne. I have tired others brands of sunscreen and they irritates my skins and cause me to breakout and having dry skin. This sunscreen is far the best one that I ever used. Do not discontinue this product.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
