For optimal results, follow these steps on a bare nail: Apply a thin layer of Break Fix over the nail break, concentrating between the crack. Using tweezers or a toothpick, gently press the broken nail together to help the edges bond as the formula dries. Allow to dry completely. Apply a second thin coat, and a third if needed. Allow a complete drying time of approximately 3 minutes between coats.
Precautions: Keep from heat or flame.

Great for quick small repairs
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was initially skeptical of this product because I am used to the nail fix powder or the trick where you nail glue a piece of teabag to the crack. I just wasn't sure if this would give enough support to the break. I will say it needs to be more of a slight crack than full breakage. It does support the crack and keeps it from getting worse. I think this is a good quick fix if you need to quickly support a break without going through a lot of hassle.

I tried it on a break I had, and sadly, it didn't help repair it at all. I followed the instructions as stated, but I did not have the results as promised. My nail just looked like I had painted over with clear polish. I do appreciate how tiny and precise the brush is and that the product dries fairly quickly, but I do wish it had worked for me. I think this product would work well for small areas of damage or peeling, but for huge breaks, it was a fail for me personally.
Break fix
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Essie break fix is nice and thin, but creates a Strong barrier on a cracked nail without showing a "bump". I found it helpful to hold the broken nail in place until it dries completely so it stays flat.
Did not work
I had high hopes after all the good things I have heard about this product. I followed the instructions carefully. Still, the crack was still visible and moving whenever I touched my nail. Not even a day later nail ripped off.
