For optimal results, follow these steps on a bare nail: Apply a thin layer of Break Fix over the nail break, concentrating between the crack. Using tweezers or a toothpick, gently press the broken nail together to help the edges bond as the formula dries. Allow to dry completely. Apply a second thin coat, and a third if needed. Allow a complete drying time of approximately 3 minutes between coats.
Precautions: Keep from heat or flame.

Excellent
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is wonderful for nail breaks and is very effective and durable once applied. The curetime isn't too long, it performs well and removes on its own at a great pace.
Easy to use, but didn't hold well
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] My nails tend to grow quickly and although I love the length, I always end up breaking one. Which means I have to trim all of them off. I loved the idea of this break fix liquid nail patch from Essie. When my nail broke, I immediately followed the directions and placed the broken area back into place. After applying 2 coats, I still was unsure if it was enough. So I opted to do 3 coats per the instructions. The odor from the product definitely was strong, but it did seem to dry fairly quickly. Unfortunately, even after 3 coats, it still didn't hold and broke almost immediately. I could see this working better for maybe a smaller break. But, for now, I'm back to short nails.
Broken nail patch
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I was hoping that the nail patch would work with just one application but it needs about two or 3 to really patch the nail back together. It leaves just a little bit of a glossy finish.
Great for a quick fix!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This Break Fix Liquid Nail Patch by Essie is so useful for moments when you have that small chip on the nail, which happens on occasion no matter how much you try to avoid it. The brush is a bit smaller than the regular polish brush, which works for mending the specific area at the nail tips. It lasts long too, and can be worn by itself (as if it's a base coat) or layered with colored polish. It applies easily and doesn't take too long to dry either. If your nails are prone to breakage this one is definitely worth trying!
It's better than nothing
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] It's only an okay product. It does what it's supposed to do but you have to baby the finger afterwards or else it'll just undo itself again. It would probably work best if you painted over it but I just did it to my bare nails.
