I fell in love with Drunk Elephant product line in the last year. I recommended it to anyone. The moisturizer and serum are so lightweight for your skin.
Perfection
Why, oh whyyyy does this have to be so $$$?? Its sooo good. I cannot find a dupe that works as well as this to reduce the redness, reduce the occurrence of my acne rosacea pimples, and reduce my rosacea flare ups as quickly as this. Its the perfect combo of azelic and salicylic acids. I use it every night under a heavy cream moisturizer, I cannot quit. It is worth every penny of my hard-earned money for how well it illuminates my skin without peeling and destroying my skin barrier. I am confident with my skin for once in my 35 years.
Maybe not for mature skin
Very surprised by the good reviews. This is very harsh and drying. Created more redness and more unneveness. Also not comfortable to leave on - feels harsh. Not happy at all - huge waste of money and will throw in trash. I feel like I need to get some extreme hydration cream to counter the effects of this.
Actually works, kind of.
This is such a unique product. Ive never seen real results with Vitamin C products other than Ole Henriksen eye cream but when you put this on it almost immediately transforms your skin appearance. My dark spots disappeared. Its the weirdest thing. Like almost immediately my skin was brighter. How is that possible? Im now weeks in and have seen a tiny bit of a difference (other than the immediate disappearancing witchcraft) so I'll continue to use when I'm out of product to see if I'll eventually see long term results.
The secret to curing my acne and dark spots
I have struggled with hormonal acne since I was a teenager. I also always get hyper pigmentation after a pimple. I tried a few vitamin C serums for over two years, even the high end ones, but all would cause me to break out still after awhile. I tried this product since it was more of a cream and within two weeks i noticed a difference. I use slightly less than a pump every morning and my first bottle lasted about 7 months. Its expesnive so i waited a bit to buy another bottle and my acne came back after a bit. Once i re-bought this my skin was back to being clear and glowy. It really is a holy grail and worth the money. I have very oily skin so i think my trick is to use cream based products instead of serums.
