Step 1: Wet skin & bar.
Step 2: Massage onto the body using the contoured side to buff rough or textured areas like outer arms, thighs, elbows, knees, calves, and lower buttocks.
Step 3: Use the flat side to smooth larger areas like arms, legs, décolletage, and back.

It exfoliates more than nothing, but the bar isn't dense enough with the physical exfoliating beads to make much of a difference. As soon as I got the product I used it, I had bumpy arms and with this soap they are starting to go away! I love ot!

This bar is a real winner. It's a bit more expensive per use than the conditioner I had been using, but no plastic packaging, it takes up less space in my shower, and it's so much more travel-friendly, AND it works great!
