So alot of ppl have issues with the price of this bar, and for good reasons. But this bar is more than just a bar of soap. I have been shocked at how long this bar last, how smooth my skin feels, how much suzz this bar generates, how well I smell after the shower, how much dirt and grind are pulled ...

This is a quality soap bar. It works well after a workout as the lather is slightly grainy giving you a really thoroughly clean 'scrubbed' feeling, yet is not too abrasive to use everyday (or even twice a day). Nice fresh/clean citrusy scent, which complements the other Caldera Lab products. It would be great to have a bamboo soap dish included (or as an extra) to leave it to dry on afterwards, because (like all soaps), the bar doesn't like sitting in water and can start to disintegrate if left too long.

I've used many different brands of high-end soap over the years (Malin+Goetz, Jack Black, Marlowe etc) but this stuff is really next level. The scent is very nice but not overpowering at all - very light, so you don't get out of the shower reeking of it. You only need a small amount to work up a rich, thick lather which covers a lot of body so I can see one of these soap bars lasting for *months* - as opposed to the usual 2 or 3 weeks! Best of all is the clean feeling afterwards. My skin feels very clean, but nourished and moisturized instead of stripped dry. Just a wonderful feeling and one that bar soap has not given me before. It takes a lot for a bar of soap to "wow" me, but this has - I will be purchasing this from now on - thanks Caldera!

I adore The Body Bar! Its rich, creamy lather feels like a little treat every time I use it, and the scent (that basil and sandalwood mix) is so fresh I keep it safely out of reach so I don't have to share. The texture buffs gently but doesn't dry you out, and afterward my skin always feels clean, smooth, and quietly luxurious.

This bar makes me feel smell rich, when I get out of the shower, it's not over powering, it's a very classy fragrance, my only complaint is they don't make a deodorant to go with it, it's that rich of a fragrance
