Color Description Not Accurate

I have used Clinique's powder blush 04-Pink Blush for many years (originally packaged in their signature green-color compact). Since it's been discontinued, I had to pick what I thought was the best match in the new colors. I purchased 108-Cupid, described as "A shy dusty pale pink", which exactly described my old favorite Pink Blush. Sadly, I found it's not as described! The color is a more intense pink and no matter how lightly I apply it, it's always too intense for my skin tone! I always have to reapply more pressed powder to tame it down. So disappointed that I waited beyond the 30-day return window and it's too late now and my money was wasted. Not sure if I want to try another pink color or another cosmetic brand to match the small amount of 04-Pink Blush remaining in my old compact. Yes, I would recommend this product, but the color choices are not as desirable as the previous colors. Even if I had bought this in person, it appears to be a good replacement to my old favorite, but it's not "shy dusty pale pink" and it applies more intensely than expected.
