I purchased several files for an at home pedicure. This big foot file is very strong and if you use too much pressure, you end up damaging your skin. My advice is, use it gently and yes your tough skin will be gone. Lotion or cream you are not found off, use it on your feet after the file. Put socks...

Money well spent!
I have VERY dry feet/heels and started using the heel genius foot cream which mostly took care of my callouses but they're still there a bit and I wanted to get rid of them. I bought this thinking I probably wouldn't like it, but I was pleasantly surprised! It's very easy to use and doesn't hurt at all. No more gross looking feet/heels! Yay!

Works like nothing else

Amazing results
I never write reviews, but this product blew me off my feet (pun intended) so I needed to let everyone know how amazing it is! My feet have had bad calluses on them for awhile, I tried different kinds of foot scrubbers/files (including an electric one) and lotions, but nothing fully fixed the problem. This file finally fixed my issue and I'm beyond happy with how well this product works! My feet look brand new it's actually incredible, I could not have asked for a better result!
