Ok, first, I will clear the air to say that this was a complimentary review, and I received my voxbox about a week ago. I was a first time user, and heres my well-thought review. The feeling that this serum gives is amazing with a strong bounce-gel like fusion on your face. I wash my face every morn...ing with a gentle cleanser. Then pat dry and I applied the serum. It does a great job stretching a long way and you can feel it making a barrier on your face to keep natural moisture in. Im all about this and I felt protected from free radicals and airborne clogging materials. It made me feel very well-put together and for foundation I barely had to apply any for smooth, good coverage. When I received this package, I was so pleased with the branding Jane Iredale did in their packaging. A sprig of lavender was laid on the seal and it smelled heavenly too. It really sent home the message that perhaps they used the power of herbs or natural botanics for their face formula. I was so excited! My face is super sensitive. I experienced no irritation or random breakouts. The bottle is very convenient to use. I really only had to do one pump but I would do two for neck and dcolletage. I also need to say that I used this product at a horrible time of the month! Sorry if thats tmi, but I wanted to be really open and thorough with this. It tamed the under skin irritations I usually get, and did not cause any more breakouts. If you are a minimalist, or looking for excellent product that covers a lot in one step, this is an excellent choice! You can see a soft dewy glow almost because of the way this product retains your moisture. The only reason why I would not give five stars, is because Im very picky about fragrance. This does not smell horrible, but does not smell appealing either. Im not sure if Im picking up lavender, cucumber, or something else, but the blend is almost a sour smell. I understand completely if the branding includes no dyes or perfumes. Perhaps and essential oil smell may be better. On a plus side, the smell does not last. It quickly dissipates.
