Most Helpful Positive Review It works great- don't let the other reviews get to you I read a lot of the comments and was kind of nervous when purchasing this because there's good and bad. I have been waxing since I was in high school so about six years now and I have had my wax warmer forever but recently it broke and the wax was just old. I found this one and was super excited because it came with the wax, the warmer, the muslin, the lotion to take off extra wax (and more), and the sticks! It has everything you need. The warmer itself is fine I'm not really a huge fan of the way it looks but it does do its job just fine and the wax I didn't have a problem with I thought it was completely fine. I loved having the lotion to take the extra wax off because normally I just use a little bit of olive oil but this stuff smells really nice and works! I haven't use the other bottles that come with it just because I've never really worked with them. I am super basic when it comes to waxing and I find the set to be equipped! It may not be the most expensive and not the best brand out there but it truly does get the job done. I kind of wonder if a lot of these people have ever waxed before or if they just started during the pandemic and don't know to much because I really don't see anything wrong with this wax kit. I do have a few tips if anyone ever needed: make sure to push on the muslin over where you have wax before you pull and always pull the opposite side of your hair growing. Place your fingers immediately on the spot that you've just waxed and hold for a couple seconds. Aloe can help for sensitivity! Always start by turning the wax on high for about a half an hour to get it to soften then lower it to about medium for a little while longer and always test it on the back your wrist first! NEVER WAX OVER THE SAME AREA TWICE! And yes wax is very messy it takes practice to learn to control it. It helps to twist the stick very fastly after dipping into the wax and spinning the little strings of wax back onto the stick. If you still have no idea what I am talking about and need help go on YouTube! Lastly, Go slow because it's very easy to mess up, trust meeee. And if something ever does happen Ulta has a wonderful range of eyebrow pencils to fill-in and grande brow serum can help grow, fill, and strengthen your eyebrows in places or patches where you may not have hair, where hair is sparse or even to thicken the hair of the brow. Good luck ladies and you got this!
Most Helpful Critical Review "All - Purpose" is not accurate I followed instructions to make a hard wax for my armpits, eyebrows, upper lip, and brazilian. The wax never reached the right consistentcy and consequently was too hot to be used as a hard wax even at the lowest setting (between low and off). It was great for my eyebrows and upper lip, and my bikini area. However, my armpits are beyond red and irritated 16 hours later (I used strips in the end because growth patterns were everywhere). I went to european wax center for ingrown hair serum because the post wax care products contain alcohol and burn post waxing! Use a good oil if any wax is left over too - the post wax (bad lotion) hardly works and burns. I also was thankful they could help with the brazilian beyond the bikini area!

Great personal use
I should have listened. 1

I saw mixed reviews and decided to buy the product and give a try. I should have listened to the negative reviews. It is awful. The wax was impossible to use with making a mess, it never became the right consistency despite using different temperatures and turning the warmer completely off. Save your money!
Wish I could give it no stars… 1

I bought hard wax for this and it works great. The soft wax however, ripped my skin off. I had welts all over my arms along with peeling. The wax was warm so it didn't burn me…just ripped the skin off. Been dealing with recovery for my arms for days…
Worst buy 1

This kit was terrible. The wax never dried so it was like having gum stuck in hair. The wax remover also did not work. Waste of $$! Do not buy
Does the job 5

I made a deal with my daughter that if I got it for her she would wax my brows for free. It's so much easier than going to a salon to get my brows done. It pays for itself in just 3 waxings. Plus, my daughter makes a little extra money by doing her friends brows!
I don't recommend 2
Ashley from New York
The wax warmer is fine but the wax is awful. I have huge patches of discoloration on my skin from using this wax. It literally ripped my skin off. When I mentioned it to my esthetician, she said she definitely recommends clients stay away from this wax.

I got this, was excited to try it. Read the directions, watched videos on how to use. when I began to use it about 15 mins ago. I plugged it in, Turned it to just about a quarter of the way up the slider Just to get things moving. Then I turned it up a little bit more gradually increasing. Just because I wasn't sure and I wanted to be safe once I got about to 2/3 of the way up almost to high. The pot sparked. The spark came out of the slider area. Now I didn't let it warm up before sliding it up I just did it over 15 to 20 sec increments would increase the temple a little bit. And it sparked it was scary so I found a found a cover pencil
And turn off my outlet and then use the color pencil to pull the slider all the way down. Now I'm freaked out and I don't want to use it
Has this happened to anybody else before? I'm in the US my outlets are your basic outlets my voltage is your average household voltage I thought I was being extra cautious but I guess not and now I am totally psyched out.

love to wax from Ga
I am very happy with this product. I haven't had any issues with staining or wax not coming off the skin. It is very easy to use. I have already saved myself money after this one purchase by waxing my lip and chin. I watch a lot of videos and pay attention when I go to the salon for waxing. I think this product is pretty foolproof if you have some background even if it's just watching IG and googling waxing.
Great budget wax warmer, horrible honee wax 3
Tina from Arlington, VA
First of all I am an esthetician in training, I needed a wax warmer for my kit to get licensed and this was on sale with everything included so I went for it. Couple of things: the honee all purpose wax is just awful, it gets everywhere and is extremely difficult to clean up, you need a ton of micellar water, AND for my skin personally it gives me the WORST folliculitis. However, the hard wax is fine and I went to Sally's and got the blue hard wax with azulene, much better. The wax warmer itself even on the lowest setting gets too warm for hard wax so you don't get the perfect pearl you want/need unless you keep turning off and on the wax warmer. The hard wax once it hardens is easy to scrape off, but not the soft wax. It is hard to do large areas with hard wax so I'd suggest getting a sugar wax or just a different brand of soft wax all together.
The warmer itself works a little too well, but it's better than microwaving. I'd say it's a good starter warmer, but it's very cheap so maybe not for an actual spa.

This literally burned my skin and stained. I made sure wax was at perfect temp and when removing the wax strips wax would not come off. I would recommend not buying and saving your $ and skin! Deserves no stars!
6 years strong and still works great 5
Nina from Ohio
Im not sure why there are so many negative comments. This is a soft wax that needs to be removed with a strip. Just like with any other wax, it takes practice. I have fine hair all over my face and this is all I use and have been using for years now. If done properly, you only need to go over the area ONCE. I've used other brands and have bruised my face, but this has worked the best for me. I've used it all over as well with no issues. If you think this is a bad product then I recommend practicing a little more bc once you get the hang of it, you won't want to use anything else.
this brand is the absolute worst 1
emmy467 from las vegas
so bad. ive tried two waxes and will never buy from them again. i deserve a refund. the hard wax doesnt even get hard. most trusted brand how??. i would rather have hair for the rest of my life than use this brand.
Would recommend to anyone wanting to wax 5
gvasquez from Grand Rapids, MI
After watching several YouTube videos and reading reviews, I bought this product. I did not really find it to be messy, as I took my time to open the wax and made sure a trash can was near by to throw away the strips and sticks. As far as the wax strips, I brushed off any loose material and it worked out great! I found the instructions easy to follow as a newbie. Easy cleanup and I did my man's brows for the first time and he was impressed! Would highly recommend.
Not too bad 4

I've had this kit for over 2 years, still works perfectly. I use it to wax under arms and face . I didn't have a great time waxing my bikini area. But other than that I like it. My only advice is to let the wax cool on the stick before applying it on face or will rip your skin off.
Don't Buy Please ! 1
Angel from Cincinnati, OH
I bought this thinking I'd save money the wax is hard it sticks to every single thing but the strips. It doesn't get up hair and the wax off was a complete waste now I have hard dry wax stuck everywhere with nothing working to get it off. I wish I would've seen reviews before purchasing definitely returning ASAP!!
Love this kit, hate the strips 4
Aesthic/s. from California
As an esthetics student I wanted to be able to practice my applications at home. I absolutely love this kit. Although immediately upon feeling the strips it came with and the consistency of the wax, I went and bought the traditional wax strips. Upon reading other reviews I noticed a lot of user error.
First use the pre cleanse, then powder to dry the cleansed area.
Make sure the wax is warmed up to a maple syrup like consistency and run the stick on the outside of the wax not the middle of the pot.
Apply a very THIN coat of wax in the direction of the hair growth. Apple the strip and warm up the wax in the direction of the hair growth.
Place tension on skin with one hand and rip off strip in opposite direction of hair growth with the other FAST.
Repeat process until cleansed area is clear.
Then repeat with next section of hair.
One strip can be used about 3-4 times then discard.

I bought this today and I am so happy I did. Don't let other reviews get to you. Amazing product, can be a little messy but watch videos before your first wax. I think it's fun too!
Know what you're doing 5

There's a reason why you have to be licensed to perform waxing. Soft wax is not the same as hard wax. This is soft wax. You need strips with soft wax. Hard wax you don't need strips. You apply in the direction the hair grows and pull off in the opposite. You hold the skin tight from the area you're grabbing the strip to pull off. You don't need a thick layer. Hair grows in intervals. You will not get all of your off on the body in the first wax. After 2 to 3 waxings then you will be able to get all of the hair.
Great Product and Gonna Save Me Lots Of Money Long Term 5
The New Waxing Queen from Las Vegas, NV
I wanted to start waxing myself but the reviews on here made me nervous. I watched a couple youtube videos and boom.. I was waxing myself. Very easy to use and directions very simple to follow. Great beginner item. The sale price of the item along with the 20% off coupon.. I couldn't pass this deal up. I would definitely recommend. It's not a big mess like many said. A little wax got on me while taking the soft wax top off the can, but I had no spills or anything. But again, I used my common sense and took the wax out like the professional would. and went section by section. Definitely Recommend!
Do research before giving bad review 4
badbecky from De
Really liked this!!
I usually go thru so much hard wax or sugar when i do my armpits, legs and bikini area and it takes me foreverrrrr.
Once i got the hang of using this soft wax I was able to get more out of the wax and get much faster. But i say do your research because a lot of people are trying to use the this as hard wax and laying it on thicccc not getting results lol. Two things i figured out that helped cut the mess and get better pul
1. Use the Side/edge of your stick to apply the wax WITH the grain to get an even THIN coat and you can even remove access by applying the same way
2. Your wax shouldn't soak thru your strip (shouldn't feel sticky thru the strip)
Only reason i give it 4 stars is that the kit has the worst strips. They leave lint and fuzz all over you and the bottles are sooo small unless you really only dab everything.
Otherwise, great deal !
Amazing 5

I absolutely love this kit! Due to PCOS I have excessive hair growth and this is a life saver and wallet friendly.
I have extremely sensitive skin and at normal nail salons, I always break out after waxing, but this kit I have not had any breakouts. The set up is so easy to follow and understand. I'm glad I ignored the other reviews and purchased this kit. I bought this back in 2020 and been using it for over a year now with no problems. I wax every other week, and am still half a container of wax, all the bottles are still full, I have used up almost all the paper and sticks and will need to be buying more soon. All in all it's great and extremely budget friendly.
DO NOT BUY!! 1

Perfect for people with thin hair 5
Love it from Raceland
Love everything about this kit! I was skeptical about using honey wax but honestly if your hair isn't too thick it will work perfectly!
