Tried the instructions and waited for a long time, but haven't noticed any blurring. Tried to put more moisturizer but still - nothing. Maybe makeup professional can give me a better option on how to use it. Thanks in advance.

I would not recommend

I hope I can give this product a try. It didn't work for me and I thought I'd ask ULTA a question about "advanced" technique. So my question was: " Tried the instructions and waited for a long time, but haven't noticed any blurring. Tried to put more moisturizer but still - nothing. Maybe makeup pro...

Still Loving

To preface, I love and have a soft spot for essence products. I wrote a review of this product 3 months ago and I'm still loving it just as much. I use it maybe 3 times a week and there's still plenty of product in there 3 months later (to be fair, i don't use a whole lot and mostly focus on my tzone, but try to cover my whole face). I've used it with mineral sunscreen, chemical sunscreen, water-based foundations, silicone-based foundations, you name it - and it's never once pilled. It gives any foundation such a smooth surface to work with and I get such joy out of gliding foundation over it. Others have mentioned a fragrance - it's so light that i barely notice it, and i have sensitive skin and it doesn't affect me, but I agree it does have a slight fragrance (although I didn't even realize it had a fragrance until I read other reviews). A lot of products make me break out, but this one never has. It's also not drying, and even though it says it's matte, I can still achieve a nice glow if I want to depending on what products I put on top of it. Overall it's just a lovely smooth and blurring canvas for makeup, as it says it is. It's my favorite primer I've ever used and I use it far more often than a similarly mattifying silicone-based high end primer that I'm trying to use up.

Smells like glue.....

I dont know if I got an expired bottle. I truly dont know if anyone else can relate but this product smells strong of chemicals especially like Elmers glue. I barely felt comfortable to put this product on my face. When I did eventually try it it did absolutely nothing for my skin or pores. If anything it made me even more oily.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Amazing!

This primer actually makes me look younger! It hides my pores and fine lines incredibly well, better than the more expensive primers I've tried. Feels silky on my skin. It keeps my makeup on well, but it definitely has a fragrance if you're sensitive to that. I'm typically sensitive to fragrances myself but have had zero reaction to this. Smell isn't overpowering, it smells really good actually!

Missing ingredients

I have super sensitive skin snd can't use anything on my face that has a fragrance. I checked the ingredient list three times (because of the review stating the smell was nice) prior to ordering to make sure there was no fragrance in this primer. I used it this morning, and about half way through of me putting it all over my face i noticed a perfume smell and low and behold there's fragrance in the ingredient list on the tube! I wouldn't have purchased this had i of known there was fragrance in it. Do better Ulta!

I sampled it on my face and it does have a nice airy light scent. Very refreshing. Blends smoothly, nice for dry skin.
