White Plastic Hairs on Lipstick
I got a deluxe sample for my birthday gift from Ulta. It was working fine for about 3 months. But when I used it on Jan. 5th, I felt that there was hair on my lips which I thought was my own. When I took it off my lips, I saw the white really curly plastic hair (it didn't look like natural hair) on my lips. Then I thought I must have gotten it from my siblings jacket, even though his jacket had fur. But when I used it again that day in the night, one swipe and I had a lot of those hairs. I immediately took off the lipstick and was really disappointed that the lipstick that I was wearing for months was not safe to use on the lips. I did break the lipstick about halfway and the bottom was like the top, with no white plastic hairs. However, I did cut up the lipstick too much that I could barely get the leftover on my lips. I did get an allergic reaction to it, but it was on the skin outside my lips that had a reaction to it not my lips itself. Maybe there was a reason I got that allergy and should have stopped using it, but I really liked how it looked so I would put a cream on and then (when it was dry) put on the lipstick for it to work on me. However, it's sad that who knows how much white curly hairs are on there and that I was using it for long. I know I can't get a refund, but I would have liked to get another one. Anyway, just use this as a warning and hopefully it doesn't happen to you, but just watch out.
