Why change good product????

I have been using this product for so many years as it was the only acne product for my skin. For whatever reason, Clinique decided to make changes with it .I noticed the bottle is different. As soon as I put the gel on my skin, the stinging and burning were so unbearable. This was not the case with the old formula. I used this new formula for two days and now my skin is peeling badly and it has created very dark spot. I truly hope these dark spots will diminish. I am so embarrassed to even be seen in public!!! Why did you even change this product that was perfect and worked for so many people???? I bought two bottles and wasted my money. And now I have dark spots all over my skin!!!!!

This clearing gel does work pretty fast. The only thing I will say is if you have broken skin and put this on it, it will sting pretty bad. So make sure you don't poke at the affected area
New Version Sucks
I bought this not knowing they changed the formula. First I thought it was just a bottle change but after the first week of using it to spot treat, I noticed no change in the acne but those spots have dried out and some spots got burned. Im literally pealing off my dried skin off my face as we speak but the pimple is still there. Too late to return cos I threw the box away.
The new version is too strong - bring back the original!

Why did Clinique change the orignal product which was perfect and which I personally have used for years with consistent success as a core part of my skincare regime? If you wanted to introduce this as an extra strength OK... but please bring back the original.
