Apply daily in the evenings around the eye area to smooth the appearance of lines and prevent the look of premature skin aging. People seem to just use stuff and blame the product for not being informed lol this is retinol and SR uses a high quality type that's what makes their products so loved. This one is made for the eyes but it's still retinol and eye skin is thinner and more delicate so you have to gently work your way...

Makes Skin Sensitive
I started this 2 times per week, and my eye under eyes are very sensitive now, and it burns when i use Auto Correct in the morning following my use of 5 Stars the evening before.

wanted to love this SO BAD!
let me first say that i LOVE the sunday riley brand, and have recently been loving their niacinamide "B3 Nice" serum for helping with fine lines and signs of aging. when i saw this undereye cream from them, i was THRILLED… but sadly not for long. unfortunately after 3 uses, my undereyes became extremely flakey, red, and dry. i went to cleanse my face in the morning and the skin around the outer corner was sensitive to the touch and literally began to flake off, as though it was chapped. i have very dry skin and get eczema outbreaks on my face sometimes - this was a worse experience than even that. i returned this product, and i had NEVER returned a product to ulta before this. i feel like my undereye bags/wrinkles were WORSE than they were before. very disappointed with this product, but still a big fan of sunday riley overall.
Too harsh for the under eyes area
I got this product from the PM trial set, and it is the only one that I will recommend avoiding. It was great for the first week; my fine lines were gone and the skin looked hydrated and soft. After that week, my under eye area would burn every time my eyes teared or applied my day time eye cream, and I got dry and red spots. I kept using it for a few more days, but it just kept getting worse. I stopped using it and waited until my skin had healed to apply it again. The burning and redness was back next morning. If it wasn't because of the burning and drying, this will be my favorite eye cream because it actually erased my fine lines.
Great Stuff
After you get through the initial ease your way in period with retinol, this stuff is great. Best under eye retinol I've used. I'm always open to trying new products and so far nothing compares!
6% retinol is asking for burns
This retinol cream, containing a potent 6%! causes significant burning and irritation to the delicate under-eye skin as well as discomfort in the eyes themselves! User beware. This should be recalled.
Extremely harsh
I use many Sunday Riley products. This is the only product I feel is terrible. I tested on my forearm for 4 days and no sensitivity. I used a tiny amount under my eyes as instructed. It causes swelling and redness and it takes days to subside. Other reviews suggest the same terrible side effects.
