Step 1: For an even streak free tan, exfoliate prior to application, moisturize any dry areas including elbows, knees, ankles and feet.
Step 2: Shake well. For best results, apply using a tanning mitt in long sweeping motions, starting at the ankles and working your way up. Then move towards your back and apply in the same motion. Ensure all areas are covered before lightly gliding any excess tan from the mitt over your hands and feet.
Step 3: Wash off after 1 hour for a light-to-medium glow, or leave on 2--3 hours for a deep, dark tan. Pat dry and allow skin to fully dry before dressing.
Precautions: For external use only: This product does not contain sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin ageing, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin if you do not burn. Keep out of reach of children: Test on a small area. Do not apply to inflamed or sensitive skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Bali Body has nailed the violet formula
I've used a bunch of different tanners over the years, and have had better results from cool-tinted ones with blue or violet in the formula. The Bali Body is my new favorite and I will definitely repurchase when I run out. The color is perfect (just let it sit for long enough!) and there's no orange cast whatsoever. What sold me was the mousse though. As opposed to foams, which tend to stay tacky for a long time, the mouse of the Bali Body formula feels lighter on your skin during the dry-down period and not quite as sticky as any others I've tried. I wouldn't say it's totally "dry touch" after application, but it's much, much less sticky and far more breathable. Between the formula and the violet hue, this is a winner.
My new favorite self tanner!
I used the Bali Body 1 Hour express aerated in dark. It was my first time using an aerated foam and I was nervous. It dries quickly. I typically sleep in it on my body and rinse my face off after about an hour. I absolutely love the color I get from this self tanner. I really appreciate how it fades evenly. The dha smells pretty strong but that is part and parcel with most self tanners. This is definitely my go to for self tanning.

Didn't darken enough
I left this on for four hours. It just didn't darken enough even by the next day drives very quickly so you must work quickly to prevent it from all being in one area.
Extremely Disappointed
I've tried maaaannnnny self tanners over the years, I'd definitely consider myself a pro self-tanner. I had high hopes for this tan because of all the great tiktok reviews, and i was ultimately disappointed and left with the same pale skin I had before for my event tonight. The application process was a breeze, and I was so please by how well it dried down, i left it for 3.5 hrs because that's all i had time for and when i looked at myself in the mirror after my shower i was in shock.. I literally had to read the bottle again to make sure it wasnt one of those makeup ones!! Can we please stop making so many dishonest review tiktoks? This sucks.
