No. Ulta Beauty Marketplace™ will carefully select brands to ensure we maintain a curated assortment that aligns with our overall strategy. This will help deliver an elevated experience with the most relevant, high-quality products to our guests.
Yes. While Marketplace products appear alongside the full Ulta Beauty assortment, guests will see clear indicators on the product detail page noting when an item is sold and shipped directly by a brand.
Yes. Marketplace products will be cross merchandised with the rest of the core assortment.
Marketplace brands will be cross merchandised with the broader Ulta Beauty assortment to ensure strong visibility. Brands will have access to additional marketing and promotional opportunities within the Ulta Beauty ecosystem.
Brands will upload their proposed assortment, which will be reviewed in partnership with the Ulta Beauty Marketplace™ team, to ensure it meets the Ulta Beauty product standards and assortment strategy.
Yes. Guests can return Ulta Beauty Marketplace™ products to any of our retail locations. Returns can also be processed via a UPS store or by using a pre-printed shipping label available on Ulta.com.
No. Our initial focus will be on brands shipping domestic inventory from within the U.S. marketplace. Products must be fulfilled from U.S.-based warehouses and shipped only to guests in the lower 48 states.
Yes. Ulta Beauty guests will continue to earn points on all Marketplace products/purchases.
Marketplace brands may run discounts in parallel with Ulta Beauty events; however, inclusion in marketing is not guaranteed.
Eligibility checklist
Requirements to sell our our Marketplace
- A valid W-9 form (W-8 forms are not accepted)
- Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- U.S. business address
- U.S. bank information
- U.S.-based fulfillment center
- Ability to pick, pack, and ship orders within 2 business days
- Shipment via approved carriers: DHL, FedEx, UPS, and USPS
- Tracking numbers provided for all shipments
All items, including bundles, must have a UPC.
