This brush is so beautiful, I love seeing it and using it every day! It gently massages my scalp and works out my constant tangles like a dream, way better than my Wetbrush ever did.
I have thin, long Asian hair that tangles easy, so most brushes work adequately for me. However this brush has felt the best on my scalp (so far that I've tried) out of all the brushes I've owned. Typically I've never spent more than $12 on a brush though.
My teenager also loves this brush and she has very thick Scottish hair from my husband, but luckily straight hair from me. Her hair is always a tangled matted mess even though she brushes twice a day. She says this one hurts less then most brushes and where the Wetbrush did practically nothing for her super thick hair, this brush actually works out her tangles.
It just feels great and looks so classy!
Bought this because it was eco-friendly and figured the bamboo would not create static. It's the worst brush I've ever had. I have somewhat long (about waist length) hair, very thick. Caucasian hair, not curly, light colored. Each time I ran the brush through my hair I heard the painful snap of it breaking my stands and felt it flat out ripping out whatever it wasn't breaking. After one use it went in the garbage. If I could give this negative stars, I would. I can't believe this is even being sold. Maybe if you had really thin, short hair...But I would recommend not brushing your hair at all before using this awful thing.

I have normal wavy hair and this brush did not do me any favours. I heard good things about bamboo and wanted to try it out but I was very disappointed. This brush is not good at getting tangles out in fact I feel it only tangled my hair more. Whether I used it on dry or on wet hair it did not preform well at all. I usually apply a leave in conditioner to help smooth my hair out didn't work well with that either. Would not recommend.

I simply used the brush for its benefits of massaging my scalp and not damaging my hair. I bought this brush specifically because I'm trying to grow my hair out and heard that bamboo brushes keep your hair healthy.

I recently had to throw out my favorite Aveda brush after 15+ years and was heart broken. I opted to try this Olivia Garden healthy hair massage brush thinking it was the most similar to my Aveda brush but mush less expensive. It has been the worst decision I have ever made. Wet or dry hair, this brush pulls and tears my hair leaving it damaged and little flyaways. It hurts my scalp tangles as you brush. It is seriously the worst brush I have ever used! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Can't believe some of the reviews here... I have long, thick, curly hair (ringlets) down to my butt and this brush is a miracle worker. I'm so glad I bought it. Not only is it a beautiful, good quality brush, but you can literally feel the difference as you brush your hair. I've never had a brush pass through my hair with such ease and with such minimal pulling. The bamboo bristles are nice and soft on your scalp like a light massage and they aren't harsh at all. Literally the most gentle brush I think I've ever used. Of course I recommend using a light detangler on your hair along with it if you have a lot of tangles, but the same goes for any brush, that's just common sense. Would absolutely buy again.

I have been looking for a brush for so long!! THIS brush is the best one you'll EVER purchase!!! The brush is beautiful, the bristles are perfection, and you can't beat the price. This brush works so much better than my wet brushes ever did. This is coming from a girl who has crazy thick hair. This brush helped get rid of the snarky build up I had going on in the back of my hair that my wet brushes couldn't take care of (yikes) and it leaves my hair feeling smooth and silky. The thick bristles of the brush did the job and I can't believe how quickly my hair started to look great again!! I'd definitely recommend to a friend or even a family member because of how beautiful it makes me feel!!!

It feels great and it is very durable!

THIS IS THE WORST BRUSH I HAVE EVER USED I THREW IT IN THE TRASH. Every time I used it it RIPPED THE HAIR OUT OF MY SKULL and I was left with clumps of hair in the brush oh my god! I went and bought an aveda paddle brush and it's soooooo much better

Not a good detangler. I had heard good things about bamboo bristles but I'm not impressed at all. When I brush my hair, it feels like I'm pulling my hair out.

I fell in love with Olivia Garden when I first purchased their 50th anniversary hair brush, and thought I would love this one as well but that was not the case. The 50th anniversary brush does not tug at your hair but runs through so smoothly no matter how messy/dry your hair is (will 100% re purchase that one). This bamboo brush is for people with thinner hair who want a cheaper brush. It's so difficult to get hair out of it to clean it off and it tugs at my hair a lot. Just did not have a good experience with it and would not recommend to anyone with lots of hair.

I am very picky with my hair brushes, but a friend of mine had this brush and i tried it and instantly wanted my own. It makes your hair extremely soft and shiny. I highly recommend this brush.

I got this brush at ULTA a few days ago and I'm already living it! It makes my hair softer than it is and more manageable! I like how the brush grabs all of my hair and it doesn't get caught in the bristles like with other cheap brushes from wal mart (goody, conair) I'm glad I bought this brush it is a life saver for my waist length hair plus wavy/ wannabe straight hair sometimes.

I've been looking for a wooden brush for awhile and was so glad I came across this at Ulta. These brushes are nice to spread your natural hair oils from the crown to the ends. I was advised to start from mid to end when first brushing to get any tangles out first then from top to bottom. I love this brush, my hair feels amazing after using it. I got rid of all my other brushes !!

This is my third brush in a decade, this time for my daughter. Her hair is down to her waist and plastic brushes just break the hair. No issues since we switched. Use this brush myself and it's perfect for my thick hair.

I got this brush because I've notice more and more hair falling out. I've been doing some research on loosing hair. Every video I've watched or every article I've read always points to your own natural hair oil. This brush distributes your hair oil from the scalp to the ends so that it keeps your hair healthy and shiny. Since I've been using this brush and switched to all natural hair products I'm happy to say that I find less and less hair loss. All natural is the way to go !!

suuper pretty brush, but my hair is thin and it gets caught in between the cushion of the brush and the bristles, which hurts. and i gave it to my mom to try and she said it gave her a headache because it was so stiff.. i wish i liked it more, but ooh well.
Ashley from Chicago
I wanted a brush with wooden bristles to help evenly distribute my hair's natural oils throughout the scalp and to the ends, while brushing my hair at night. This brush is polished, light weight, and the bristles are evenly spaced and do not pull or tug on my hair and allow for a wonderful hair brushing experience.

Last one lasted about 6 years❣️

I have very thick and curly hair so I can't use just any brush because they'll break. This brush has lasted and doesn't leave my hair stringy or dull.
Jane from Sussex County, NJ
I love how it does not tug and pull my hair when I brush. My hair does not get tangled in it. I wish it came in a travel size. It is rather big to pack in your carry on or a purse.
ckt from fishers, IN
Very well made product but doesn't massage scalp and spread oils well. Good for thicker hair. I have finer hair which makes it feel a little harsher. However, it is not damaging to thinner hair.
