Confirm and checkout
Once you’re logged in, you can choose to link your Venmo balance to complete the transaction and then you will see your order has been confirmed.

Pay with Venmo allows you to use your Venmo account to check out on participating websites and mobile apps. You can pay using your Venmo balance, bank account, or a linked debit/credit card.
The Venmo app is only available in the United States. However, the Venmo Debit Card can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted.
To create a personal account, you must be a resident of the United States or one of its territories, be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your state of residence and use a cellular/wireless telephone number that you own.

You can link (or unlink) your Venmo account at any time by going to the Shopping Bag when you’re signed into your Ulta Beauty account.
You can also unlink your Ulta Beauty account in the Venmo app by following these steps:
- Go to the Me tab by tapping your picture or initials
- Tap on the Settings gear
- Tap Connected Businesses and select the merchant you would like to disconnect
- Tap Discontinue payments at the bottom of the page
Disconnecting the merchant will prevent them from being able to charge your Venmo account in the future unless you reconnect them later when authorizing a new purchase. Please note that any pending transactions will continue to be processed, and you are responsible for any currently pending charges on your Venmo account.
Yes, you can select your payment method during checkout and use your existing Venmo account balance or another form of payment. You can also add new payment methods during checkout as well. When you update your payment method for a single payment, it will automatically become your default for future payments. Learn more about adding payment methods here.
Yes, you need to have an account with Venmo and the Venmo app installed and be logged in. When checking out on mobile, you'll be redirected to the app to authorize payment.
Yes! If you're logged into your Venmo account and select Venmo at checkout, you can complete your transaction on desktop. You may be prompted to scan a QR code with your phone to approve the purchase.
Ensure you update your Ulta Beauty and Venmo apps for the latest releases. Check the iOS App Store or Android Play Store for the latest version info. If the app has an update available, you'll have the option to tap 'Update'.
No, there is no fee for consumers to use Pay with Venmo.

The original buyer will receive the full refund and can then share the refund amount using the Venmo app.
If you don't have enough balance in your Venmo account when making a purchase, Venmo will automatically pull funds from your default backup funding source - such as a bank account, debit card, or credit card. If you do not have a backup funding source selected, Venmo will ask you to add one to your wallet. Note that you can check or change your backup funding source in the Venmo app by going to Me > Settings > Payment Methods.

If your transaction was declined, please note that Venmo refunds can take 1 - 30 business days to be processed depending on the payment method you used. Please contact Venmo support for more information on refunds.
