Gift Cards
Gift Card ("Card") Terms & Conditions ("Terms") Protect Card like cash. Card not valid for use until purchased and activated. Purchase, use or acceptance of Card constitutes acceptance of Terms. Usable up to remaining Card balance to purchase goods or services at Ulta Beauty stores or at ulta.com. Not redeemable for cash except as required by applicable law. Card does not expire or incur fees. Card is not a credit or debit card. If lost, stolen or damaged, Card will not be replaced without proof of purchase. Issuer is not responsible for use of Card without authorization. Ulta Beauty Cosmetics, LLC ("Issuer") is Card issuer and sole obligor to Card owner. Issuer may delegate its obligations to an assignee, without recourse, after which the assignee will be sole obligor to Card owner. Gift Card Purchase
You can purchase an ULTA Gift Card at any ULTA store, online at ulta.com and ulta.cashstar.com, or from authorized retailers. ULTA Gift Cards and eGift Cards are available in any denomination, up to $500, and, with the exception of promotional Gift Cards or promotional eGift Cards, have no expiration date.
You cannot use an ULTA Gift Card or eGift Card to purchase other Gift Cards or eGift Cards, and Ultamate Rewards points cannot be redeemed for the purchase of Gift Cards or eGift Cards.
Purchasers of ULTA eGift Cards are responsible for providing an accurate and deliverable email address for the recipient during the purchase and checkout process on ulta.cashstar.com. Refunds will not be made for eGift Card purchases sent to an incorrect, invalid or undeliverable email address provided by the purchaser. ULTA is not responsible if the eGift card is lost or redeemed by an incorrect recipient.
Gift Card Redemption
ULTA Gift Cards and eGift Cards are redeemable for merchandise and services in all ULTA locations in the United States and at www.ulta.com. They cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.
To redeem an ULTA Gift Card in-store, simply present your Gift Card at time of purchase. To redeem an ULTA Gift Card on ULTA.com, enter your Gift Card number and PIN number at the Payment step during the Checkout process. The PIN number can be found on the back of the Gift Card under the black and silver scratch-off coating at the bottom.
To redeem an ULTA eGift Card in-store, you must present the original eGift Card email printed with the eGift Card number and PIN number and present it at time of purchase. To redeem an ULTA eGift Card on ULTA.com, enter the eGift Card number and PIN number at the Payment step during the Checkout process. Only one eGift Card can be redeemed per online order.
The value of your order amount plus any sales tax, shipping & handling fees, and any other charges will be automatically deducted from the available balance on the ULTA Gift Card or eGift Card. If the amount of the order exceeds the available balance on the Gift Card or eGift Card, the recipient will need to pay for the balance of the order via other acceptable means of tender.

Returns
You may not return or cancel your ULTA Gift Card or eGift Card after it is received. Purchasers who wish to cancel an eGift Card purchase prior to its delivery to a recipient should contact Customer Support prior to the delivery date selected during the purchase process.
Lost or Stolen Gift Cards
ULTA Gift Cards and eGift Cards should be treated like cash and safeguarded accordingly. If lost, stolen or damaged, Card will not be replaced without proof of purchase.

How do I check my Gift Card or eGift Card balance?
If you are online, you can check your balance at ulta.com/guestservices/gift-cards. In you are in an ULTA store, simply ask one of our associates to check the balance for you.
Can I Merge Gift Cards?
Yes, you can merge your Ulta Beauty gift cards together! Any gift cards purchased at an Ulta Beauty location or online at ulta.com can be merged by contacting Guest Services, or through the self-service functionality on our Chat located here. Any Ulta Beauty gift cards purchased outside of an Ulta Beauty Store would have to be merged by a Guest Services Specialist. Please contact them via your preferred method here.
Are there any fees associated with the purchase of eGift Card or a Plastic Gift Card?
No, except if you choose to purchase a plastic Gift Card online and request expedited shipping.
Do I have to activate my Gift Card or eGift Card?
No. Once you purchase your card in an ULTA store, online at ulta.cashstar.com, or through an authorized retailer, your card should be active. If you have any problems with your card, you can check your balance at ulta.com/guestservices/gift-cards or contact Guest Services.
What is the difference between a Gift Card and an eGift Card?
Gift Cards are plastic cards that are purchased in ULTA stores, online at ulta.cashstar.com, or via authorized retailers. eGift Cards are virtual gift cards purchased on ulta.cashstar.com and sent via email to a recipient. They operate just like a plastic card and can be redeemed either in an ULTA store or online at ulta.com. For more information about eGift Cards, go to ulta.cashstar.com.
Which credit cards do you accept?
VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, as well as PayPal.
** Please note, there are a small percentage of "plastic-less" card accounts for American Express - Corporate and Purchasing Card accounts. If you have one of these accounts with no AMEX card, please enter 5555 as your card security code.
When does the eGift Card or Plastic Gift Card expire?
Never. There is no expiration date on your eGift Card or Plastic Gift Card.
How do you prevent the email from getting lost as spam?
We adhere to all industry best practices to ensure successful delivery of the eGift Card via email. Still, there is a chance that the email will be treated as spam or the recipient didn't notice it in their email inbox. You will receive an email message confirming delivery of the Gift Card alert email, and a message notifying you that the eGift Card has been viewed. If the eGift Card goes un-viewed for 15 days after delivery, you will receive a message with options for resolving the issue.
How do I know the recipient actually received the eGift Card I sent them?
You will receive an email message confirming delivery, and a message notifying you that the eGift Card has been viewed. You may also contact Customer Support with the order number from the email you received confirming your purchase, and we can tell you if the recipient has viewed their eGift Card.
Can I redeem my Ulta Beauty gift card at Ulta Beauty at Target?
No, ULTA Gift Cards and eGift Cards can only be redeemed at an Ulta Beauty store or at ulta.com.
