This was the OG glycolic toner for a reason!
I started buying this when it went viral 9ish years ago, but back then, I was terrible at skincare and i threw too many actives at my face — this stung, oof. Mid 30s me knows more now and has combo oily skin, so i came back to this after healing my barrier and keeping my FA safe routine simple for a month or so. This is not FA safe, but as my skin does not react to castor oil, I do use this. It's everything I was promised in 2016 and more. I use this daily to every other day, and it truly helps my skin feel smoother and brighter. You definitely have to work up to that usage and it should NOT sting if your skin is ready for it — if it stings, work on healing your barrier a little more and come back! I'll be trying some alternatives after this because I don't love the added color or fragrance, even if it does smell nice, but I am always open to coming back to Glow Tonic because it just works for me.

A Must
I go back and forth with how much I think toners do. I'm one of the less is more types of skincare girls, I do not want to have a 13 step process and toners always feel like something I can drop but this product is a must. It's gentle and EFFECTIVE! I switched retinoids recently, prescription, and got hit with dry flakey skin while my skin adapts. This cleared this up instantly. Will continue to repurchase as long as I'm on retinol aka forever
