I love this set! These are durable, light weight and are good for most types of makeup. The sponge is great for setting my BB cream or my liquid foundation ( when I wear it). I particularly like the setting brush, as it applies just the right amount of powder where I want it. Each item is a multi tasker, which for me, is essential. The quality is good, especially for the price. If you have been searching for a great essential brush set, look no further than this set! Just be sure to clean this brush set at least once a week with the brush cleaner of your choice. I'd also replace the sponge every sixty days, as it's a little difficult to clean deeply and it gets dirty fast ( especially if you use a creame foundation).
Each of the brushes shed every time I used them- including the first time. They continued to shed even after I washed them too.
The brushes were very good at grabbing the colors I was using, but they were uncomfortable to use and were more frustrating to use than the previous brushes I was using.

I love this set! It gives you every kind of brush you'll need for basic, every day makeup. Definitely the best on the market for the quality and affordability!

My favs/HG in this set are Blush and Setting brushes. They're my favorite because they're both multitasking brushes. The blush brush will not only apply your blush/bronzer perfectly but also will apply your setting/finishing or pressed powders like a dream. The setting brush is not just a setting brush but it happens to be my favorite highlighter brush and it can also work with applying concealers. Both the blush brush and the setting brush are Allure magazine winners so you get 2 award winners in this set.At around an average $4 for each item it's not a bad idea to invest in this brush set.
Real Techniques brushes are all super soft as a bunny's tail and easy to wash. I personally prefer synthetic bristles and the brushes are made high quality.
The only cons really I have and this is ONLY my personal preference is that I don't really use the Sponge and I would have preferred a smaller eyeshadow brush for my hooded eyes.I think I would have loved this brush set more if a eyebrow brush would have been added/swapped instead of the sponge or even the foundation brush. Then again that's just me

Brushes are a bit smaller in person and I wish the sponge came with a case how some other sets do, but overall this is a really nice set, the brushes are so soft and easy to blend with they're also very beginner friendly, which I am a beginner which is great for me. Overall no complains.

These brushes are my holy grail and they blend so well. They're so soft and I would repurchase this if I had to. The sponge is the only sponge I use tbh and it's so inexpensive on its own.

For the price, I think you get a pretty good value, and I like that it tells you how to use each brush. I recently bought a BH cosmetics brush kit, though, and I recommend checking them out if you want a more comprehensive (and still affordable brush set).

Some of the brushes have hard bristles 🤷🏼♀️ I bought the setting brush by itself and the bristle were so soft. I bout this package and the setting brush bristles are rough feeling against my skin and not nearly as soft as the individual setting RT brush I bought, even though it's the same brush.....
The foundation brush bristles also feel rough. Besides those two the rest of them I like.

Wonderful set of face brushes at an affordable price. I reach for these over some of my more expensive brands. The foundation brush blends well for a medium coverage, the crease brush i think is better for blending concealer rather than eye makeup, and the setting powder brush is ALSO good for larger areas of concealer or even a dusting of highlighter. I could take or leave the sponge, not that exciting.

These brushes are so soft and good quality. I haven't tried the sponge yet. For the price, you can't beat it! Would recommend!

This is a super great basics set especially for the face. I'm loving the liquid foundation brush and the brush for highlighter. Great addition to my brushes

The brushes are good liked how the preformed, the sponge is to stiff for my liking and hard to move around face.
