Companion Ticket Inquiries
I’ve seen so many posts about people asking for further guidance on getting caregiver tickets, and coincidentally - I’ve seen many comments on social media about people saying they’ll get a caregiver ticket if that means a friend can go with them to UBW.
I just want to give a little soapbox opinion on this- please don’t get a caregiver ticket if you don’t actually need one. Please don’t ruin this for people who do need caregivers with them. There are many that do need to have additional help, but if you don’t need it then please leave it for them 🙏

I’m really hoping they ask for some sort of documentation of medical necessity

I agree with you! I am disabled, most days a cane or my walker is enough others I can’t barely move and my husband helps me from showering to getting dressed so seeing people using others disabilities to their advantage is disturbing. I don’t make content or anything I am just in a budget and wanted to go to the event to stock up for the year. Thanks for bringing awareness!

Absolutely agree with you! I even mentioned in my emails that I was ready to provide any proof they needed. Hopefully they enforce some rules with this process.

THIS! I didn’t get a ticket but had inquired about caregiver tickets before they went on sale. I’m disabled and I remember when I emailed them initially I even offered to give proof of my disability because I figured some people would work around the system.
