Most Helpful Positive Review Just as good (if not better) as ABH
My ABH Brow Whiz is down to it's last few clicks, and I'm a little broke so I figured I'd give this a try since L'oreal KILLED it with the Lash Paradise Mascara, and I was so pleasantly surprised and glad I got this. It's amazing. It applies so smoothly, went with the brunette and it's the perfect color, perfect texture, long lasting, doesn't look fake. I cannot talk enough about how great this pencil is.
Most Helpful Critical Review Had High Hopes - But It's Not For Me
I had high hopes for the L'oreal Paris Brow Stylist Shape and Fill Pencil specifically due to the angled tip. I had never used a brow pencil with a triangular tip before but have seen them advertised among the latest, hottest beauty products. I figured the hype must mean the product is universally liked.
I used the color Dark Blonde. I have very, very light blonde brows naturally. They almost look bleached but they're natural. To achieve the type of brows I want, I need good color payoff from the products I use. Ideally I also prefer to be able to "build" the color on my brows to achieve the type of color I want.
As a redhead and someone who needs pigment added to their eyebrows, the L'oreal Brow Stylist Shape and Fill Pencil failed to deliver. I found myself needing to apply almost hundereds of strokes MORE than I usually would when using other brow pencils. Needless to say the application became exhausting and by the time I achieved the color I wanted, my brows looked terrible.
The product itself is very waxy. Too heavy of a hand and you'll find yourself accidentally drawing streaks on your brows. And within the streaks are tiny balls of wax. The waxy product can ball up and of course that isn't the look anyone would go for. Too light a hand and you get almost no color payoff. I found it difficult to strike the balance in between.
Overall I wouldn't recommend this product to those who, like me, have bleach blonde eyebrows and are hoping to apply a natural looking color to their brows. I would have only given this one star, but I gave it two stars because I could see this working for those with darker brows who are only seeking to fill in any brow sparseness.
If you need to draw or fill in your entire brow, this probably isn't the product for you.

Absolutely Perfect Product!

I used to use a more expensive pencil and found L'Oreals the absolute best I've used! Easy to fill in lines, easy to correct , lasts all day!
Dupe for ABH Brow Definer
Laura from Los Angeles
This product is perfect for those who have thick brows or like a bold brow look. The color fits me well, and because I have brows on the thicker side, it's perfect for filling in and shaping brows. But, due to the applicator, which is very similar to the ABH Brow Definer, it's harder to get more detailed strokes near the front of the brow. Overall I think this is a great product for the price, and I will continue to buy and use this product.
Really liked it.

This is the first time I buy a brow pencil. I thought I would have a problem learning how to use it, but it was very easy, and it looks really nice.

After doing some research I chose this brow pencil because the reviews were really great and I was looking for something that would be easy to use. The first and second uses were fine, just what I had hoped for. The second time I opened it, the entire pencil fell out and I had to carefully place it back in. It also went on really waxy and thick, it was making the hair in my eye brows stick together. This says that it has one pointed side for fine lines and a flat one to fill in - but after the first time I used the pointed side...it wasn't pointed any longer. Which would have been fine I guess except that the pencil it self was so thick it was like drawing a crayon onto my face. In all I'm super disappointed and I'll be researching another alternative because this will not work.
Colors not accurate-too dark

I like this pencil and the price is good. Just be aware that the colors are very dark and you may have to order lighter.

no matter how many other brow products I buy, I always come back to this pencil! the formula is long-wearing and stays in place well. I would say it's comparable to some of the other more expensive brow pencils!
Recent changes to product (late 2019).

I've been using this product for years. Suddenly I couldn't find it. Finally I do but it looks different. Oh no! I try it, the product seems a bit wider, great! The previous broke too easily. It goes on easier, seems less waxy...no weird sheen on areas with little hair. I go to use the spoolie and realize its smaller and not as full! It means i need to put it closer to my brow to use instead of just skimming the sparse hairs, which is removing product. I add more, use flat, short haired spoolie again, and repeat over and over! Why oh why did the fullness of the spoolie change? I begin to be concerned also, that the product is coming off pretty easily, previously it didn't! Is it the flat shape of the new spoolie, is the product not adhering well enough? Took me longer then usual to deal with this. Finally i am! My last concern, my brows were fading through out the day, it wasn't adhering as before the changes. What ever was added to make mor blendable also prevents the product from staying in place as well. I looked all over the new packaging and no where does it say anything about staying put! Help! This other product is all i ever used! I don't know how to use anything else!

This is dupe for the Anastasia brow definer but better! It's more creamy and pigmented then ABH & half the price! Can't beat that
I buy it every three months!

I use this brow pencil everyday! The ulta I went to ran out of the color I usually use (dark brunette) so I had to get brunette. It's still an amazing fit and so convenient for us busy girls looking for products that give us a quick glam in the morning. 💕
I have bought this many times because I like it.

The triangle point makes this brown pencil easy to manipulate. I can create a nice clean brow shape.
Formula is okay

The undertone of this shade is very yellow. Looks very strange on the face. I do like the shape and formula is okay. I wish they would make this color more neutral.
you can shape your eyebrows a lot easier with this

It takes a little bit to get use to the shape. I bought the shade light brunette and it has a reddish color.

Great dupe for ABH. Will be purchasing again. I have dark brown/black hair so I bought the darkest color.
Joni from Hemet, CA
I only gave it four stars because I have only started using it. I have been using a more expensive brand of eyebrow pencil and wanted to find a less expensive brand since the other brand name pencil, doesn't seem to last very long. So, for the week that I have been using it, I would have to say I would buy it again!
I always buy this one! Love it 😍

Warm it up first
Gloom from California
Its waxy at first but I would suggest swatching it on your hand first so that its ready to use. Once you do that its pretty good. Not a fan of the shape though
