When applying hair pomade or wax, start at the back of the head and work your way toward the front, making sure you coat those roots. This method helps spreads the product evenly, avoiding clumps of product at the front portion of your hair. For optimal results, emulsify a dime-sized dollop in your hands and work through towel-dried hair.

I tried this pomade coming from Imperial Barber Classic Pomade and like the hold being that it is very similar to Imperial. However, the smell is much worse and the smell does not come out.
