I have tried everything possible to curl my hair and it always falls flat by the time I leave the house. Not with this iron! It straightened my hair in 1 pass and even left a beautiful shine. I curled my hair yesterday and I still have beautiful curls today. I didn't use any hair spray this time either. It's an amazing tool for my stubborn hair.

I have been using Babyliss for about 8 years now and it is the BEST Iron ever!! My hair will NOT and I mean will not get straight & silky with just any iron. In colombia everyone uses this and so did my hairstylist & ever since then, ive been using it & I will never change it. It leaves my hair Perfect, and it wont get frizzy no matter how bad the weather is. Always recommend it to everyone!

This straightener is amazing. I have very thick, long, course, gross hair and if it's anything but straight I can't do anything with it in regards to styling. My precious straightener it was taking me close to an hour to get it decently straight. Using this it now takes me 20 minutes to get it perfectly straight! It also adds so much shine that was never there before. It doesn't snag my hair either which is a bonus. I'm one of those people that doesn't invest in good products just because of the financial aspect. Well worth the money!

          Babyliss is incredible!

          By TigressD

Comments about BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Prima 3000 Styling Iron:

I bought this with points I amassed during the 21 days of beauty last year. I was skeptical at first. I have thin, frizzy natural hair but I wear sew-in extensions. My Bioionic One Pass 1.25" can get my hair straight and shiny, but for curls I kept having to switch to my Babyliss Marcel Iron or a curling wand (use Numi magic wand or octowand). What I really wanted was an all in one straightener and curler. I tried everything! Literally. I own a Solia 1.25", Babyliss Nano Titanium with long thin plates, a Maximus, etc. At first this iron had me doubtful as I used it on the 380 degree setting with so so results, and I don't go above 400 on my Bioionic for straightening. However, for this I went up to 410 degrees and it worked like magic. Not only did it straighten large sections quickly, but not one curl or wave was left un-straightened. When I went for the curling method it left my hair shiny and healthy and smooth and bouncy. Now, I wouldn't use this on my leave out as I prefer to use the lowest heat possible on my natural hair so I'll switch to a smaller iron for edges to do that job. But, overall, this did NOT disappoint. It curled better than all my Numi wands and almost as good as my Babyliss Marcel. And to think I almost considered exchanging it for something else! I'll keep this for as long as it lasts, which should be a while considering my other Babyliss products are still week intact and fully functional after 6-10 years.

              A:

BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Prima 3000 Styling Iron has a nonheated handle so users can use the unit without burning themselves on the handle. Additionally, there is a sticker on the outer housing indicating that the outer housing does get hot and to proceed with caution when using the outer housing when styling. Think of this unit just like a curling iron where the handle is cool and the barrel ( outer housing is hot). We PRIMA3000 also comes with the blue " Cool Touch" tips at the end so you can hold the iron at the blue tips without being burned by the heated surface of the Iron. Please visit PRIMA3000.com to watch our How-To Styling videos so you can use the PRIMA3000 with confidence.

          • Q:

Do the outside plates come off when you do not want to use them or is there a way to keep the outside plates turned off if you just want to straighten (not curl) your hair?
Asked on 2/5/2017 by Melissa from Clearwater, MN

            1 answer

              A:

The exterior plates on the BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Prima 3000 Styling Iron can not be removed nor are controlled by a separate heating system that can be turned on or off. The exterior plates on the PRIMA3000 do heat up but they do not get as hot as the interior plates. Additionally, the blue rubber tips at the end of the plates on the outside remain cool so you can touch that section while using the iron.

              A:

The BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Prima 3000 Styling Iron has a voltage of 110. Unfortunately this is not a dual voltage iron, and don't recommend using it in India and Qatar.

Does the entire flat iron outside get hot (where you hold it too)? Or just the part on the other side of the plates?

            1 answer

            • Brand Expert

              A:

No, the bottom of the iron where you hold the unit and where it says BaBylissPRO PRIMA3000 does not get hot. The section of the iron that is over the actual flat iron plates does get hot ( not as hot as the interior straightening plates). But, you can touch the cool tips ( blue rubber pieces at the end of the flat iron) that do not get hot when working around that section of the PRIMA3000 Iron.

Yes, the outer plates on the Prima3000 do get hot, just not as hot as the interior plates. We suggest using this iron with caution to avoid the heat found on the outer plates. Please use the blue rubber tabs at the end of the iron ( the Cool Touch tabs) when using the iron, as the Cool touch tabs never get hot.

            1 answer

            • Brand Expert

              A:

Yes - the BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Prima3000 Styling Iron is created to curl and straighten hair. The outer plates on the PRIMA3000 heat up ( not as hot as the interior plates) making it easier to get a curled look to your hair. The Prima3000 is great for creating Ribbon Curls and texture in hair. Depending on hair length we would suggest going with the 1" Prima as it will produce tighter curls if that is the look you want to achieve.
