Most Helpful Positive Review Great product but difficult to use
Unlike some of the cheaper cuticle nippers I've bought, this one is actually sharp, well-made and durable. However, I found that it was perhaps TOO sharp and therefore difficult to use because my cuticles looked kind of "chewed up" after I used it. If you are a professional nail technician or extremely experienced in the use of cuticle nippers, I think this is a great product for you but the average home manicurist may find it difficult to use.
Most Helpful Critical Review This product should be named, JAWS!!!
I grew up with a professional Nail salon owner and gave my nippers, as we call them, to my Daughter. This nipper, was made in Germany and I needed to replace them. After reading great reviews for your, "Rockhard Cuticle Nipper 1/2 in. Jaw by Tweezerman" I purchased it not caring about the cost. I did not find this product easy to use. The spring mechanism does not work well. I suffered many small lacerations which took a couple of day to heal:(

I love the brand but this has been the worst tweezer I bought for the price. It gets stuck on close and never wants to open....
Anne from NY
This nipper is not sharp at all. I have to tug and pull. I thought for the price it would be higher quality.
$$$ but worth it

Tweezerman is where it's at!! ALL of their tools are great.
Better than I expected...
Val from Miami Florida
Tweezerman used to have a great line, mostly made in Germany...now you have to be careful because not all that bears the tweezerman name is equal. I had originally bought similar clippers at bed bath & beyond and had to return them since they were so dull and ineffective. I reluctantly tried these and was pleasantly surprised. The jaw is a bit larger and although can be used on hands, are truly perfect for feet.
I now have 2 of these—worth the extra expense

I left home without these and bought another. I could've paid half the price for a lesser quality, and I have in the past, but these will last forever.
Greatest Invention Ever

This thing is amazing and I don't know where it's been my whole life, but oof is it expensive. I would recommend using a coupon when purchasing or other rewards system. This is very durable, sharp, and can cut so close (just be careful). This is seriously the best invention ever.
Handles were super tight
KayfromLA from LA
I've owned nippers from Tweezerman in the past and this is the first time when I got such tight handles. I returned it the next day. I think for the price it shouldn't have such problems. Still love Tweezerman though.
Dependable and efficient

I've purchased these a few times and although they wear out eventually, they're the sharpest and easiest to use. There is no substitute.

Clippers are nice and sharp, problem is that the handles are short-- I have small hands and they press so hard into the palm of my hands that is makes tender spots

Not enough tension . Open and closure lousy
Kristen from Lakewood ca
This cuticle nipper works great, except once it closes it won't open. I'm not sure if I got a dud or what. But now I need to go buy a different one.

I've owned countless cuticle nippers over the years and have been doing my own Mani/Pedis forever. These nippers are worthless and will be returned. They worked great the first five minutes I used them, then something happened to the spring mechanism in the middle and they wouldn't bounce back after I squeezed them. Made them impossible to use, so I ended up using an old pair of nippers to finish my manicure.
I have used other products by this brand without issues over the years, but these nippers? Just no.
Best nippers ever!

Tweezerman is always my go-to. Prior to purchasing these, I had some other brand that dulled and broke (I partially blame my husband, I think he was using them to clip his fingernails. Grr.). Last time I will ever try to be thrifty and save on nippers. I used to use these back in the day when I was a manicurist and the quality has not changed.
It didn't meet my expectations
Knox from Knoxville, TN
The blades are the best in the market. Very sharp and precise. However, I don't understand why the "spring" in the middle doesn't keep the blades apart by default. Once I squeeze the handles, they don't bounce back.
Spring mechanism broke after a week. Stuck closed.

Nippers do not spring back open. They are only 2 weeks old. A waste of a lot of money!
Len the beauty addict from West Hurley, NY
I was disappointed because it didn't feel like it was trimming effectively, felt dull and the head was not small enough so you can maneuver well. The best for me is still the sally hansen one for travel/smaller head
I would buy this again because it is very precise.
Singersylvie1404 from Baltimore MD
I love it! I had never tried a product like this at home before this, and it was so easy to use!

Exactly what I needed.
Look no more, if you need cuticle nipper!
Ang from NY, NY
I love this to keep my cuticles in check the week following a professional mani/pedi. It's also easy to do my own mani/pedi.

The product is good quality. The blades are sharp and perform great.
Think Twice Before Buying
KittyCavyMom from Clearwater FL
I'm very disappointed with this product. It was a replacement for a Revlon Nippers that lasted decades. I though this product would be better since the inner metal springs interlock. But I was wrong, when you press the handles they don't spring back open. Using thiese nippers are a pain and difficult to manage. I will not recommend this product.
Bean from Dallas
I had to manually open the clippers. The surface on the inner sides weren't slick enough for the clippers to open on their own.
MyRoses from Michigan
I was very please with this product's quality and sharpness.
