Essences are a unique step to Korean beauty. While toners balance the skins pH and remove impurities, essences are meant to be packed with efficacious ingredients and lots of hydration to saturate the skin to make your treatments and serums absorb better on the skin. Nothing Special and Stinging for Sensitive Skin
I bought this after finishing another K-beauty hydrating essence I love (I just wanted to try something new!) and it just hasn't worked for me. I have slightly sensitive skin and this often stings when I put it on - I was hoping for something soothing but unfortunately this just isn't. I also haven't noticed any change in my skin from using this. Finally, the bottle seems big but I've gone through it way faster than any other toner or essence I've had and I use the same amount I would with any other essence or toner.

I'm now addicted to the Wild Dew treatment Essence. My skin loves it - absorbs right in and perfect prep for my moisturizer. My skin feels softer, hydrated and more "glowy".
Great for reactive skin, gives a nice glass effect
I was skeptical of this because it looks like water. However it does have some viscosity when you put a few drops in your palm. I like putting this on after my morning shower -- it really does help my serums absorb and distribute, and it gives a pretty glass skin look, but no odd stickiness or oiliness. I don't know how they do it. Normally "glass skin" products just feel wet, but this does not. I do also think that it calms and brightens my skin. Importanly, I have had some severe allergic reactions to other toners, even ones that have been highly reviewed -- Mario Badescu, Thayers, Missha to name a few. I have been using this for weeks now and it feels great.

Easy and gentle on the skin.
LOVE LOVE LOVE
I use Peach and Lily almost exclusively because I am a ginger with sensitive skin. I love using this product every now and then either when it is really hot or really cold outside and my skin is so dry it feels almost tight. It works wonders and absorbs quickly. I typically follow it up with the P&L matcha moisturizer after. Just a bit because less is more with this brand. You don't need a ton of product to get results.
