Red splotchy broken out skin

I've been using the serum, face and eye cream of wake up beautiful for four weeks. It burns every night that I put it on and I have a red rash on different spots on my face. It's like broken out and splotchy. I kept using it as I read about retinoid burn and how it can take a couple of weeks for your skin to get used to it. I sadly think it's fair to say, it's not going to get used to it. Sucks since so many have great experiences and because of what I invested into this product line.

I purchased this product a couple of years ago, before I was retinol literate. The product is gentle enough for a first-time retinoid/alternative-user, left my skin looking very hydrated immediately after and the following morning, and it never broke me out. The glass packaging is gorgeous and sturdy enough for reuse. My only regret is that I had no idea what I was doing then and was definitely not using the product with the consistency required to see results. I would definitely buy this again now that I know more about retinol and its alternatives.
