What are there parabens in the ingredients?

Parabens derived from para-hydroxybenzoic acid. Alternatively, PHBA which occurs naturally in many fruits and vegetables. Parabens have been safely used in products for over 100-years. The parabens used in cosmetics are identical to those found in nature. Your body quickly changes parabens to natural PHBA and eliminates them. Parabens are permitted for use by government agencies across the globe. The parabens currently used as preservatives in some Nioxin products are methylparaben or propylparaben. You will not find isoparaben in ANY NIOXIN product. Does this make your hair easier to brush through? When using system kit shampoo, conditioner and treatment, hair is usually tangly. Will applying this make it easier to brush through before blow drying?

You may wish to purchase a leave-in conditioner or hair oil to apply prior to brushing. Keep the product off of the scalp. Great for thinner curly hair
Have thinner curly hair. Applied foam throughout damp clean hair and at first look like my locks where going to be thin. 30 minutes later hair got drier and scrunched it out to soft, shiny, fuller locks. Pleasant, light clean smell.

Man, this product was quite the disappointment. Nioxin products have been known to be reputable, and I have fine hair that needs a volumizing boost, so I gave this mousse a shot. And nothing! Best Mousse for thickening the hair but it doesn't make it dirty.
Horrifying experience!!
I used this product after using the kit and had a horrifying experience. The back of my neck felt hot and so did my shoulders, after looking in the mirror my entire back was welted and blood red. It was painful and it even worked it's way close to my eyes. After looking at the ingredients I was mortified to see that propane and isobutane was two main ingredients. Maybe harmless to some but obviously not something I normally use.

4 stars because my nozzle came broken
This foam is overall great for any type of hair. I did notice my curls were a lot thicker. And overall drying time went down by a lot but maybe that's because I air dried for a bit at first.
