A good accessible mousse

I was gifted this product by Odele through Gloss Angeles Confidential. I'll start off my stating that I am not really a mousse person when it comes to styling my hair. Any mousses I have used before have been drug store, in a can, and usually leave a residue on my hair, especially is applied near th...e scalp. I have fine hair but A LOTA of it, so I find too many products can sit heavy on my roots. I used this mousse and upon initial application it felt light weight, dispenses realllt nicely into your hand, very controlled not like the mousse that comes from a pressurized can. It easily spreads and feels light weight. After applied I went in with my Dyson air wrap and after I dried my hair and styled it, I felt a fair increase in volume. Im sure if I set my hair in pins I would have been able to amplify that. I did however notice a slight residue near my roots, but I believe it's part of the formula that makes it volumizing. I went about 3 days before a hair wash and that feeling eventually softened, and didn't increase in buildup or anything unpleasant near my scalp in those few days between washes. I appreciate that it's also a heat protector, I feel like most styling products should have this benefit especially since I don't think people apply as much protection to their hair as they should. Every time I've used it, I have styled my hair with heat right after, so I am interested in trying it on towel dried hair and letting it air dry. Overall I'm pleased with it and if you're in the market for a volumizing mousse definitely consider this one, especially with the added heat protector. It's not every heavy, does not leave a crunch, but provides soft, brushable volume!
