Key Ingredients

  • VITAMIN C: 22% concentration of a pure, waterless, stabilized Vitamin C which is unique to the market. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that delivers many anti-aging benefits, ie. brightening skin & evening skin tone, while dramatically improving elasticity & moisturization of dry/damaged skin.
  • HYALURONIC ACID MICROSPHERES: 2% hyaluronic peptides. Filling Spheres technology based on the use of hygroscopic material to make a sphere (dehydrated at first, fill up with water within the skin). Hydration process causes a change in volume proportional to the spheres' moisture retaining capacity.

Q
Is this product non comedogenic?
Asked by E
Official Answer By Indeed Labs - Syndication
This is a silicone-based product, and although silicone isn't pore-clogging in and of itself, it can create a barrier that traps other comedogenic substances. Our Vitamin C Brightening Drops are a great alternative if you're concerned about breakouts - they are noncomedogenic. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can this product be applied around the eyes?
Asked by Carol
Official Answer By Indeed Labs - Syndication
Hi there! Due to the delicate nature of the skin around the eyes, we do not suggest applying this around the eyes. Our Eysilix™ II or Retinol Reface™ Eye Cream are great options for the eye area. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can this replace moisturizer? Ty :)
Asked by Luna
Official Answer By Indeed Labs - Syndication
Hi there! You may find that your skin prefers a moisturizer on top. You can also mix this with your moisturizer if you prefer a more mattified finish. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
How long is this product shelf-stable? Would it work to stock up on this product, or would it go bad? Additionally, should this product be refrigerated?
Asked by CJ
Official Answer By Indeed Labs - Syndication
Hi there! You have 6 months to use it once it is opened. If it is remained closed and stored in a dry, cool place without exposure to sunlight, you have about 2 years to use the products before it becomes slightly less effective. You can refrigerate it if you prefer applying products at a cooler temperature. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
What is the pH of this serum? Also, why is there no vitamin e or ferulic acid included in the formula. I have read that the combinatio of these 3 ingredients maximize the efficacy of vitamin c serums. Thank you for your reply.
Asked by Diane
Official Answer By Indeed Labs - Syndication
Hi there, thank you so much for your question! Our Vitamin C24 serum is an anhydrous product, meaning that there is no water and therefore no pH level. Vitamin E and Ferulic acid are often added to Vitamin C serums to improve the stability of Vitamin C and maintain its efficacy over the products shelf life. Since our Vitamin C24 has no water, and is housed in opaque packaging, we didn't need to add stabilizing ingredients. We hope this answers your question! Was this answer helpful to you

Improved Packaging and Formula

I first purchased this product in 2019 in my search for vitamin c products. I'm pretty sure they updated the packaging and formula since then as the tube I purchased in August 2020 works much better. Before, the hole was too big and usually ended with me squeezing out too much product. The product i...

Glad I tried it, but it's not for me

I was excited to see a vitamin C serum that had at least 20 percent vitamin C and even nailed the packaging. I like that it's an opaque squeeze tube, so light and air don't get in. They even use a silicone-base formula to keep the vitamin C stable. However, the formula was still too thick for me. It...

I think it's imperative that you add vitE and ferulic acid to your formula, so that we can obtain the "total vitC Formulation" from a Canadian source. Big overlook on your part, especially since you qt3 about science.

Trying this for the first time and I love it so far! The texture is so velvety and a small amount goes a long way, I have not had any irritation or stinging sensation that some vitamin c products can have. I have only been using it in the am since I use retinol reface in the pm, but may switch it up. My skin tone is much more even and makeup application has been so much easier, I find I am using much less foundation.

Good, But Not for Beginners

This Vitamin C serum has a smooth silicone feel and acts like a primer. I enjoy the silicone feel, but if you're not a fan of it, then you may not enjoy this product. It's also pretty strong at 22% LAA; generally I wouldn't be tempted by a Vitamin C serum that's over 20%, but for the price point, it was worth a try (and the higher % of LAA could offset some of the potency loss the product gets from being water-free). It does tingle at first, but that stops once your skin gets used to it (I've used The Ordinary's 8% AA & Arbutin, Cerave's and L'Oreal's 10% vitamin c, timeless 20% vitamin c, Paula's Choice 15% vitamin c, and BeautyStat's 20% vitamin c; except for a slight tingling from BeautyStat, none of these caused any tingling or irritation). Overall, this seems like a decent water-free vitamin c serum (I personally still like the BeautyStat one better even though it's much more expensive) and it's good for traveling since it's not a dropper and doesn't leak. It gets harder to squeeze out of the tube when you get closer to the end, but the cheaper packaging is a trade-off for the price. I would recommend this if you've been using vitamin c for a while and are looking for something stronger. I personally love that this isn't a dropper and it being water free means I don't need to worry about it being the correct pH level.

I've inly been using this a couple of weeks so I haven't noticed any big changes yet. I love the texture of this cream, my skin is so soft and smooth after applying. I do have sensitive skin and there is a bit of a tingle after applying but it doesn't cause an redness so it's just the active ingredients doing their job. Will keep using.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Definitely try it!!

I've tried vitamin c serums and honestly this cream is a big game changer. It's is strong so I'm only using it at night. I've tried using it in the morning too but my face felt all itchy so I only use at night time. But even after the first use I could feel the difference and after three uses I saw results immediately. I have acne scars around my jaw area and especially from my high school days and it's lightened and given my skin a nice smooth texture. I totally recommend trying this!! If you decide to use this during the day make sure you put on sunscreen.
