Hydrates and nongreasy

I like the richness of the cream. It leaves my undereye area hydrated and nongreasy. I use it at night with my evening skincare routine. I appreciate the anti-aging and brightening properties of the vitamin C. The only complaint I have about the product is that the pump tends to expel more product each use than I intend to.

Finding an effective under-eye cream that won't irritate delicate skin is a feat. That's why we love Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester CCC + Ferulic Brightening Under-Eye Cream. Safe for even sensitive skin, Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester CCC + Ferulic Brightening Under-Eye Cream contains three kinds of Vitamin C. Together, they treat the three types of undereye discoloration: brown, blue, and red. Here's what I found out about these three Vitamin Cs: 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a stable pure Vitamin C derivative excellent at skin brightening and collagen synthesis. Sodium ascorbyl phosphate (SAP) is a stable Vitamin C that won't quickly turn brown. It is anti-microbial and skin-brightening. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate produces more collagen than other C variants.This skin-plumping antioxidant fights free radicals to prevent wrinkles. Ferulic Acid brightens and repairs damaged skin. It also boosts the benefits of the other ingredients within this formulation. It also contains Biomimetic Oat Protein which does double duty to reduce redness and prevent irritation. It is ideal for us sensitive skin types. The consistency is a gel-serum, which is perfect in hot weather. It also absorbs fully and quickly.

Ok, I'm going to be truthfully honest on this product. I really really really wanted to love this product since I LOVE Perricone products but this Vitamin C Ester CCC + Ferulic Brightening Under-Eye Cream was not my favorite. It seemed like it somewhat worked even though I really couldn't see how much my under eye area has changed till my spouse told me he noticed the difference. He had to show me pics to see the difference. It wasn't a drastic change but there was a little change. The good thing about it is that a little goes a long way and it is easy to apply with the pump that comes with it. I would have given it 3 stars but the smell of it is what made me give it two stars. I cannot stand the scent it has. It's hard to describe it but for some reason it reminds me of a smokey scent as to cooking some meat. The scent didn't irritate my eyes especially since I wear contacts so that was plus. I just couldn't get over the scent which was horrible! I did like the way it feels on my skin.

I have been using this for 4 weeks now and I can notice a big difference under my eyes. I use the serum in my morning and night routine consistently. I normally have dark under eyes and also deal with dry skin and this serum has fixed both of those problems. The serum has no overpowering fragrance which is a plus if your sensitive to fragrance. The serum melts instantly into my skin leaving my under eye smooth and hydrated. This will also brighten your under eye area, it will fix dark under eye, red under eye, and neutralize that area. The packaging feels very luxurious and compact. Over time this serum will also help with those under eye fine lines or wrinkles. This did not irritate my skin in any kind of way. This is perfect for those who have dark and dry under eyes. I will keep this in my daily day and night routine, and will repurchase this again and again.

I wanted to love this as you know, this company makes some of my HG items, but sadly this one didn't work for me. I'm not usually sensitive, I can do daily retinol eye cream, but this eye cream causes me some irritation 😞 I had quite a long testing period, so I experimented a bit. It doesn't seem to irritate every time, but if I use it for 5 days or so in a row, I notice the irritation starts. If I give it a break and come back later, I'm ok for the first few days before the irritation comes back. I'm thinking maybe I need to treat this like an active and only use a few times a week, although the instructions tell you to use it daily AM and PM and I only used in the PM, so even less than their suggestion already. Because of the stop and start nature, I didn't really notice any reduction in my dark circles. It did leave my eye area feeling great but for the price I would want it to have results but also not cause irritation!
