I have to use sulfate free soap, so why did I think my scalp was any different? No more itching or tight scalp feeling. No weird, headache inducing smells either.

Odele's Ultra Sensitive shampoo and conditioner saved me from an eczema breakout caused by my former expensive salon quality hair care products (LP). Don't know if they changed formulation or I just developed sensitivity but I'd been using the old stuff for years. Always had sensitive skin so I'm constantly looking for signs of irritation. Suddenly my scalp, neck, ears and even my face became red, itchy and inflamed. Didn't know where to turn then came across Odele. Wasn't sure how it would treat my hair but I had to calm my constantly itching skin. I immediately noticed a reduction in itchiness but it took a couple of weeks for my skin to clear completely. In the meantime I was getting compliments on how nice my hair looked. I couldn't believe it since I was only using two products when before I was using 5 or 6 with every shampoo. I'm almost done with my first bottle and back for more because my hair continues to look shiny and is soft and easy to style. Thank you so much Odele Beauty! Please never change your formulation!

I am pleasantly surprised by this shampoo (and the matching conditioner). This is a nice shampoo if you want something soothing and gentle. Yes, it's thick. I had to double check that I didn't accidentally grab the conditioner bottle. I can see this becoming a challenge to get out of the bottle as I get closer to the bottom. I emulsified the shampoo between my palms, then held it near the hot shower water and let the steam hit it, then it emulsified super slippery and easily in my hands with the addition of some water. It's just very concentrated and needs lots of water to work it in. I found it easy to work through the hair and scalp. My hair feels clean but not stripped.

So glad to have found this during eczema flare on scalp, face, neck and shoulders! Using daily and loving it! The shampoo is very thick and sometimes hard to get out of bottle and emulsified. The conditioner is almost too runny, which trips me up as I always think I've grabbed the wrong bottle! Also, the shampoo does tend to make my hair feel straw like and tangly. However, that could be due to the coconut derivatives in the formulation… I notice that in a lot of products I've tried with same straw like results… my hair may just be sensitive to that ?? After I use the conditioner though it smoothes and conditions my hair immediately! The fact that this duo doesn't irritate my skin is most important to me and I'm very grateful to have found these products!

I initially tried their smoothing shampoo, which I really liked; however, I wasn't a fan of the scent. I had high hopes for this product because it's hard to find a fragrance-free shampoo that doesn't come in a bland and medicinal-looking bottle. The packaging definitely looks nice in my bathroom, but the shampoo itself was a fail. It's so thick and hard to move through your hair. I'm a man with fairly short hair. I can use a cheap body wash to clean my hair if I wanted and probably be fine 90 percent of the time, but this product left my hair feeling like a broomstick. They frankly should reformulate it.
